About This Competition
CrossFit King of Prussia is excited to host The Supertotal 2022. This event will be a combination of the Olympic lifts and Power lifts Snatch, Clean & Jerk, Back Squat , Bench Press, and Deadlift.
Event weigh in and warmup will begin at 7:30
Pre comp meeting at 8:30
Lifting will begin at 9
Open division(athletes under 40 years of age) will lift saturday. April 2nd
Masters atheltes (40+) will lift sunday April 3rd.
Athletes will be given 12 minutes per movement to build to a max. There will be 12 athletes in each heat 6 female 6 male( and multiple heats). Each heat of athletes will Snatch and then Clean & Jerk. After that portion will be a half hour break before the power lifts (Back Squat, Press, and Deadlift).
Standards:
For the Olympic lifts any variation of the lifts will be allowed Muscle, Power, Squat or Split for the Clean and/or the Snatch. The barbell must continue moving once it leaves the floor (no hang movements will be allowed)
Push Press, Push Jerk, Split jerk will all be allowed. The rep will be counted once the athlete stands up with full extension in the hips and knees. Feet must also come together for the rep to count. There will be NO pressout rule.
For the Back Squat athletes may low or high bar squat. Athletes will start out with the bar on their back fully extended in the knees, hips and ankles descend to hip crease below parralel and then return to a fully extended position.
For the Bench Press athletes will unrack the barbell and start the lift off with fully extended arms and straight elbows. From that position they will lower the bar down to visually touch the chest and return it back to the fully extended position. Athletes are allowed to have the judges assitance for the unracking of the barbell. Athletes feet must remain flat to the floor as the movement is happening
The Deadlift will be the conventional Deadlift with the hands being outside of the feet and legs. Bar will start off on the floor and athletes must pick it up to a fully extended position in the hips knees and ankles with the shoulders in line with the lips.
For the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and Deadlift athletes will be required to wait for a down call from their judge before dropping the barbell.
No lifting straps or lifting suits will be allowed.

Workouts
Athletes will unrack barbell and begin the movement in a fully extended position. Athletes will descend to the bottom of the squat with the hip crease going below the knee line and then return to a fully extended position.
The lifter will lie on their back with head, shoulders, and butt on the bench to begin the lift and feet in contact with the ground. The lift will begin with the lifter unracking the barbell with straight arms before they begin descending the barbell. Bar must make contact with the chest and then return to a fully locked out position before re racking the barbell. No excessive arching will be allowed (shoulders must stay in contact with the bench).
Barbell will start on the floor unloaded . At 3-2-1 go athletes will load the bar and begin the clean. The clean may be done in any of the floor variations (power, muscle , squat , split). No hang cleans will be allowed. Once the bar reaches the front rack the athlete will drive the bar overhead using any pressing variety they choose and will be credited with a successful lift once the bar is fully locked out with both feet together. Athletes must wait for the down call for the rep to count
The deadlift must be performed as the conventional deadlift with hands being outside of the legs. Lifter will start with the loaded bar on the floor and stand it up to a fully extended ( knees and hips fully locked out) position and wait for a down call from the judge for the rep to count.

Ground to overhead in one movement, once the bar leaves the floor it can not stop moving. Muscle, Power, Squat or split allowed.
The snatch may be performed as any variation from the floor ( muscle, power, squat or split). The bar must travel from ground to overhead in one continuous movement.
