About This Competition

Since 2016

WOD Wars Fitness Festival, now an official CrossFit Licensed Event, has evolved over the years to become a highly rated CrossFit-lifestyle event in Florida and Southeast. For nearly a decade, it’s served as a hub for CrossFit enthusiasts of all levels to connect, compete, and celebrate a healthy and active lifestyle.

The Competition

WOD Wars is known for its vibrant atmosphere and professional-style stages, including field, pool, and gymnasium settings. Get down on all 4 of our event stages and enjoy an awesome day of sun and fitness with your crew!

We offer team divisions for all ages and levels.

Adult: Same Sex Trios / Coed Duos

Youth: Adult/Youth Duos

Adult participants can expect 4-5 scored events across our awesome stages. There are also 3 dedicated events for youths, encouraging a family-friendly atmosphere.

The Fitness Festival

The event takes place at the Dunedin Community Center, a state-of-the-art facility and beautiful park in the scenic Tampa Bay coastal city of Dunedin, Florida. Sprawl out with your squad on our giant complex and enjoy the competition and scenery. WOD Wars features over 3 dozen local and national vendors, a food truck rally, wellness services, athlete villages, splash pad, playgrounds, and more! There’s no event quite like WOD Wars. Whether you are a competitor or just looking to be part of our one-of-a-kind fitness festival culture, we welcome you to join us this April in Tampa Bay!

 

Adult Teams - Trios: $150 Per Athlete/$450 Per Trio - Duos: $160 Per Athlete/$320 Per Duo

Adult-Youth Duos - $125 Per Athlete/$250 Per Team

Adult Youth Duos: 7am-10am 

Adult Teams:10am-6pm

 

Refund Policy:

Before February 1: 100%

Before February 15th: 75%

Before March 15th: 50%

After March 15th: No Refunds

*Please purchase the Fan Shield event insurance if you feel that you might need a 100% refund to ensure your funds are returned regardless of date.

 

SPECTATOR & PARKING PASSES:
 
Parking (All Attendees): $10 Per Vehicle: Parking on site and at satellite lot with complimentary trolly service


Spectator (Non-Athletes): Adult/13+: $15. Children 12 and Under: Free
 
*A portion of all proceeds will benefit Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club; specializing in the development and growth of youth athlete.

A qualifier is not required for this event, and registration is open for all.

 

This is NOT a qualifier for the CrossFit Games.

12 Power Snatches 

12 Overhead Squats

Rest for the remainder of the interval

*Increase burpees by 3 reps with each new interval until failure by interval cap.

At the beginning of each new interval, teams will increase burpees by 3 reps to 6, 9, 12, etc… Barbell reps will remain at 12 reps each. Teams will continue intervals until they are unable to complete set number of burpees and barbell reps in the interval. 

Score is the total number of reps completed once the team can no longer finish the required reps of an interval.

 

Duos

1 Minute and 30 Second Intervals to Complete:
