About This Competition
**Hero Workout Fundraiser – Honoring the Fallen** Join us for a meaningful day of fitness, remembrance, and community as we honor the heroes of September 11, 2001, and Sergeant First Class Christopher A. Celiz, a Medal of Honor recipient who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. This special Hero Workout is more than just a workout, it's an opportunity to come together, challenge ourselves, and give back. Proceeds will benefit John Paul II Middle School Football and The Sua Sponte Foundation, supporting the next generation while honoring those who served with courage and selflessness. The workout includes: * 1 Mile Run * 75 Hand-Release Push-Ups * 75 Air Squats * 1 Mile Run * 75 Sit-Ups * 75 Box Jumps (24"/20") * Optional Ruck or Weighted Vest (20/15 lb) **All skill levels are welcome!** Whether you're a seasoned athlete, weekend warrior, or participating in your very first fitness event, there will be scaled options and modifications to ensure something for everyone. Come walk, jog, run, or push yourself, every effort honors the mission. Can't join us in person? A virtual participation option is available so you can complete the workout wherever you are. Together, we'll remember, honor, and support our community, one rep at a time. We hope you'll join us for this inspiring event.
