Future's Fittest
About This Competition
Future's Fittest is a CrossFit Competition for kids and teens, ages 6-16. We are excited to provide this FUN day of competition with five age-appropriate workouts at the awesome facilities of CrossFit LandRush in NW OKC.
Age divisions are as follows:
6-7 year olds
8-9 year olds
10-12 year olds
13-14 year olds
15-16 year olds
All participants must be appropriate age for registered divison on August 22nd.
It is our goal to provide an encouraging, positive atmosphere during Future's Fittest. We want all our kids and teens to feel proud of their hard work and know that fitness is fun! Workouts will be challenging but age-appropriate!

Kids and Teens do NOT have to attend a CrossFit gym in order to compete in Future's Fittest. Demo videos and movement standards will be provided after workouts are released so parents/coaches can help their athletes prepare.

Important Dates:
July 18th - Early Bird Registration Opens
July 25th - Regular Registration Opens
August 1st - Workouts Released
August 22nd - T-shirt Deadline & Age Requirement Date

Workouts
"A La Carte"

This Floater WOD will take place when the athlete is ready to attempt throughout the day.
WOD 3
“Brawl Gone Bad”

Variations and weights for each division are listed below.
Ages 15-16: 75/55#, 24/20” box
Ages 13-14: 45/35#, 24/20” box
Ages 10-12: T2B, 10# DBs, 16” box jumps, 18# KB SDLHP
Ages 8-9: T2B, 10# DBs, 16” box jumps, 18# KB SDLHP
Ages 6-7: Knees to chest, 5# DBs, 16” box step-ups, 10# KB SDLHP
This wod is 11 mins long. Athletes will have 1 minute per movement to get as many reps as possible. There is 1 min. of rest after the first 5 movements have been completed. The athlete will then go through 1 min. of each movement again, completing 2 full rounds.
WOD 1
“Pull your Weight.”

Variations and weights for each division are listed below.
Ages 15-16: Pull-ups, 115/85#
Ages 13-14: Pull-ups, 75/55#
Ages 10-12: Pull-ups, 14# WB
Ages 8-9: Pull-ups or x2 jumping pull-ups, 14# WB
Ages 6-7: Pull-ups or x2 jumping pull-ups, 10# WB
TIME CAP: 7 MINS.
WOD 4
“Sprint Triplet”

Variations for each division are listed below.
Teens Ages 13-16: Boys will do 15 push-ups, girls will do 12.
Each athletes will need to decide before the wod if they are doing double unders/singles for teens or single unders/line hops for kids. Athletes will not be allowed to switch once the wod begins. For scoring purposes only, 2 reps will be scored as 1 rep on single unders for teens and for line hops for kids.
WOD 2
“Squat, Run, Snatch”

Variations and weights for each division are listed below.
Ages 15-16: 40/30# DB, 400m, 300m, 200m, 100m
Ages 13-14: 30/20# DB, 400m, 300m, 200m, 100m
Kids divisions will do 10 reps only of squats/snatches each round.
Ages 10-12: 10# DB, 100m each round
Ages 8-9: 10# DB, 100m each round
Ages 6-7: 5# DB, 100m
13 MIN. TIME CAP FOR TEENS
9 MIN. TIME CAP FOR KIDS
Dumbbell may be held however (front rack, on shoulder, behind neck, etc.) on the squats but dumbbell must be above waist throughout the movement.
