LEVLS Throwdown: Individual Series
About This Competition
Following the success of LEVLS Throwdown earlier this year, we are thrilled to announce the LEVLS Throwdown: Individual Series, taking place at CrossFit SW1, London on Saturday 20th November.
Whether you're a seasoned comp pro or this is your first ever functional fitness competition, the LEVLS Throwdown: Individual Series is open and accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level or experience. All weight will be scaled to an everyday division, and there wont be any olympic weightlifting or gymnastics.
Athletes will compete across four events, testing their 'STRENGTH', 'POWER', 'CAPACITY' and 'ENDURANCE', with workouts inspired by the launch of the new LEVLS App. Athletes will be the first to get their hands on the app as they enter their scores on the day.
09:00-09:30 - Athlete Check In
09:45-10:15 - Workout Briefs
10:30-16:30 - Workouts
16:45-17:30 - Prizes + Social
As well as a whole host of prizes from our amazing sponsors, we will be awarding the top athletes with cash prizes (1st Place: £250, 2nd Place: £100, 3rd Place: £50).
Entry is £30, and all athletes will be given a LEVLS T-Shirt and sponsor goody-bag to take away. Don't rush off after competing though, as there will be lots of Pizza, Beer & Prosecco following prize giving.

Movement Standards
Ski Erg
- The monitor will be reset each round by your judge
American KB Swings
- The KB must finish overhead in line with the shoulders with full elbow extension and the bottom of the KB facing away from the athlete
Russian KB Swings
- The KB must finish at or above shoulder height with the bottom of the KB facing away from the athlete
5km Row Time Trial
All athletes will complete a 5km row on the erg for time.
Your Endurance score will be calculated in the LEVLS app after entering your result.

Movement Standards
DB Devils Press
- Chest touches the floor with both hands on the dumbbells at the bottom of the rep
- Full knee, hip and elbow extension with dumbbells directly overhead at the top of the rep
- Clean & press, snatch or swing are allowed
DB Hang Power Clean
- Dumbbells can be cleaned from inside or outside the legs so long as both dumbbells are below the hips at the bottom of each rep
- Full knee and hip extension with the head of the dumbbell on top of the shoulder at the top of each rep
- Muscle cleans and power cleans are both permitted
DB Thruster
- The rep starts with the dumbbells in the front rack position
- The athlete must squat to depth (hip crease below knee) at the bottom of each rep
- Full knee, hip and elbow extension with dumbbells directly overhead at the top of each rep
- The dumbbells must be pressed in one continuous movement from the squat

- Push Ups can be scaled to 30" or 20" Box Push Ups
- Chest touches the floor/box at the bottom of each rep
- Full elbow extension at the top of each rep
Barbell Lunges
- Forward or reverse lunges permitted
- Alternating legs
- Knee touches the floor at the bottom of each rep
- Full knee and hip extension at the top of each rep
