Unbroken Throwdown 2026
About This Competition
The Unbroken Throwdown is a local functional fitness competition sponsored by Chicagoland’s premier physical therapy practice for fitness athletes, Unbroken Rehab and Athletics.
We wanted to provide a competition for seasoned vets, newbies, and everyone in between to be able to form coed teams of 2 and challenge their fitness. Whether it’s your training partner, life partner, or another gym member, The Unbroken Throwdown will give you the opportunity to practice together and use a little teamwork to best the competition
This year's event is unique in that we will have 3 workouts and 3 floaters. Workouts have been released! 2 floaters get released when you register, and 1 mystery floater gets released the morning of the competition.
Everyone loves a Saturday partner workout because not only will you get to challenge yourself, but you may get some rest breaks, or share the load with your partner. The extra pre-game strategies add an extra wrinkle that will make this event one you can’t miss
Pick your division:
RX - those who want a challenge and can typically RX every workout. No muscle ups, or handstand walks required. Available as Male/Female teams
Intermediate - Not yet 100% RX on strength or skill movements but you are an up and coming firebreather then this is the one for you!
Masters - You’re still competitive, and can RX most workouts, but you want to compete in your own age group. Available Male/Female. Age requirements: 35+
Scaled - for those who are new to competing, or those who have not yet mastered the advanced skills. You want to get a feel for what it’s all about. Available as Male/Female
Workouts standards will be released once all the workouts have been released
