About This Competition

Join us for VDM Challenge - The Total with an online submission period open from April 1st - 30th, 2024.

A fun challenge to bring the VDM athletes / community together throughout the year (not just in February for our annual event)!

What is the “Open” Division?

We will be asking some custom questions to properly place you in a division that will be created after you register. Don’t worry though, this event is weightlifting only so there are no high-level skills that should be expected!

2/23 - Pre-sale starts for VDM 2024 athletes

3/1 - Registration is LIVE to the general public

4/20 - Registration closes

5/6 - Leaderboard finalized

1-Rep Max Back Squat

- No time cap requirement


Division Standards -

Males - Must use a 45lb barbell, must use pound (lb) plates

Females - Must use a 35lb barbell, must use pound (lb) plates


Scoring Standards -

Final score is the heaviest successful lift completed


Online Submission Standards -

  • A video must be submitted of your heaviest successful lift, with a date / time stamp on it (we recommend WODProof).

  • Once the lift is completed, you must verify the barbell weight & plates on the barbell. Clips are not required but recommended. No plates smaller than 2.5lbs will be accepted.

  • Your score will be submitted online through the VDM Challenge event page (you must be logged into your Conquest Events account) & it will be submitted in total pounds lifted.

  • The online submission period will open on April 1st at 8am EST & close on April 30th at 11:55pm EST. No late submissions will be accepted.

Complete for a Final Score -

1-Rep Max Clean (Power or Squat)

- No time cap requirement


Division Standards -

Males - Must use a 45lb barbell, must use pound (lb) plates

Females - Must use a 35lb barbell, must use pound (lb) plates


Scoring Standards -

Final score is the heaviest successful lift completed


Online Submission Standards -
