Northern Europe's Largest CrossFit Competition

The Oslo Throwdown is back in 2024, bigger and more exciting than ever! Moving to the impressive Sport Arena UNITY ARENA , we're ready to welcome a huge crowd of athletes and fitness fans from across Northern Europe and beyond.
With our new Sport Arena, we can provide all athletes and active spectators with showers and better resting areas, something all of you really deserve. Additionally, there are 4 changing rooms, each equipped with 20 showers, ensuring ample facilities for everyone.
Set for October 25-27, this two-day event is not just about CrossFit competition, but also about celebrating strength, endurance, and the spirit of the fitness community. 💪🎉
In collaboration with Prepared Programming, the competition programming is designed to challenge athletes while promoting fair and exciting competition.

ELITE Team of 2 MIX: 🏋️♂️🏋️♂️
This division is tailored for those who have reached or surpassed the Semi Final level in CrossFit, ensuring a competitive and exhilarating experience.
Criteria for Participation:
• Elite Level Requirement: Participation is recommended for athletes who are at or above the CrossFit Semi Final level. We maintain a standard that mirrors the intensity and skill of the Semi Final Individual level.
• Exclusive Registration Process: To register for the Elite MIX Division, a special code is required. This code is exclusively provided by the management of Oslo TD.
• Selective Admission: The Oslo TD management reserves the right to approve participants at their discretion. This ensures the highest standard of competition and sportsmanship.
Prize Money and Billing:
• Earning Prize Money: Winners in the Elite MIX Division are entitled to prize money.
• Billing Process: Winners must invoice Oslo TD within 30 days of the event’s conclusion.
• International Competitors: If you do not reside in Norway, please invoice the amount excluding VAT (MOMS).
How to Apply:
• If you’re interested in competing in the Elite MIX Division, please send an application to Contact@aktivitetnorge.no.
• Your application should include the CrossFit achievements of both athletes.
• Upon approval, you will receive a unique code that grants access to the registration process.

Intermediate Division: This division invites athletes to tackle CrossFit® Open RX-like exercises and weights, adjusted for a wide range of competitors. Expect fundamental lifts and gymnastic movements like T2B, Pull-ups, C2B Pull-ups, HSPU, and Double unders, with some more advanced skills.
INTERMEDIATE INDIVIDUAL: 🏋️♂️
INTERMEDIATE INDY - for athletes ready for a challenge. (Competing on Sunday)
Intermediate Division: This division invites athletes to tackle CrossFit® Open RX-like exercises and weights, adjusted for a wide range of competitors. Expect fundamental lifts and gymnastic movements like T2B, Pull-ups, C2B Pull-ups, HSPU, and Double unders, with some more advanced skills.

MASTERS : 🏋️♂️
INDIVIDUAL - for athletes ready for a challenge.(Competing both Saturday and Sunday)
MASTER Division: This division invites athletes to tackle CrossFit® Open RX-like exercises and weights, adjusted for a wide range of competitors.
SCALED Team of 2: 🏋️♂️🏋️♂️
Male-Male, Female-Female, and Mix - for all fitness levels, especially beginners. (Competing on Sunday)
Scaled Division: Participants will face lighter weights and adapted exercises for technical accuracy and safety. Maximum loads include Snatch/Thrusters at 40/30 kg, Clean and jerk/Squat clean at 50/35 kg, and Deadlift at 90/60 kg. Basic gymnastic skills like Toes to bar, Toes to rings, and Pull-ups included, but no highly advanced movements.

INDIVIDUAL TEENS 14-15/16-17 COMPETES SUNDAY
(MINIMUM 4 WORKOUTS)
An athlete should expect to see weightlifting movements and loading similar to what is programmed in the CrossFit® Open (with the exclusion of the heaviest barbells).
The maximum load we will program in an TEEN workout for multiple reps are:
Snatch, OHS,Thrusters 40-35/45/30kg
Clean and jerk, squat clean 45/30-50/35kg
Deadlift 65/45-85/60kg
* Please note that these are not the maximum loads you should be able to lift for 1 rep. They are the maximum loads that we will program for a workout with multiple reps.
An TEEN athlete will be expected to perform these skills for multiple reps in a workout:
T2B
Pull ups
C2B pull ups
HSPU
Double unders
An TEEN athlete may be required to perform some of the following skills in very low volume:
Handstand walk
Bar muscle ups
Pistol squat
Rope climb
* If these skills are used they will often be at the end of workouts or in the final events

THROWDOWN // SHOWDOWN
All athletes will throw it down on the competition floor, and if you succeed in climbing the leaderboard, we have a challenge for you! At the end of the day, when you've given it all - the top XX athletes will move on to the final and show off their skills in one last workout at the next level as the throwdown goes SHOWDOWN.
Event and Heat Schedule:
All workouts (Events) will be announced 7 days prior to the competition, with the heat schedule following 5 days before the event. This provides teams ample time to prepare and strategize for their performances.
