About This Competition

Looking to dip your toes in the water of competition in Miami Beach?

No better way than through the TYR Wodapalooza Gauntlet, powered by the U.S. Army.

What?

Want to get a taste of what it’s like to compete on the big stage under the Miami sun? Now is your chance.

The TYR WZA Gauntlet features individual WODs, where only the fittest, and most mentally tough will emerge victorious.


Why?

While there are many people on the fence about competing in a full-blown three days of competition, Team TYR WZA wanted to give as many people as possible the opportunity to celebrate and test their fitness with us.

We understand it’s tough to secure a spot, but with the Gauntlet, you’ll get a chance to throw your hat into the ring and get after it.


Who?

Whether you're a local South Floridian, volunteering over TYR WZA weekend, or athletes coming into town to spectate; why not earn your weekend of rest? Calling on these folks to come enjoy an hour throw down! Whether it’s your first time competing or you’re an experienced veteran looking to earn a spot on the podium, this is for YOU!

The TYR WZA Gauntlet will feature a Open, Intermediate, & Rx Individual Division. No teams yet!


When?

The TYR WZA Gauntlet 2025 will run from Thursday, January 23, 2025, through Saturday, January 25, 2025. You are able to choose your 60 minute slot on whichever day works for you!
 
The top athletes in each division will qualify for the finals. The Gauntlet finals will take place Sunday, January 26th, 2025. Our top 3 winners in each division will be celebrated at the closing ceremony podium at the conclusion of the competition weekend.
