About This Competition



WOD 1 – Running with the Devil - 17:00 


Part A. 1 Mile Run with partner holding 1 medicine ball

RX men – 20lbs Ball

RX women – 14lbs Ball 

Scaled men – 14lbs Ball 

Scaled women – 10lbs Ball


*Score will be placement at finish time


Part B. Remaining time: Each Partner Establishes a 1 Rep Max Snatch
*Must declare each attempt. You have 4 attempts each. 

Score is placement of mile + placement of combined lifts


Alternate plan for weather: 

    100 Burpees between partners, divided however teams choose

        - Partner 2 will hold Med Ball above head while other partner does burpees

Score is time burpees completed

WOD 2 – Dementia


For time (or reps) : (15 Minute Time Cap)

 

One partner works at a time, alternating rounds

Chest to Bar

Power Cleans 135/95


Standards

RX

HSPU’s – measuring 3” below from the wrist with arms extended and thumbs touching overhead

Chest to Bar – Chest must come in contact with the bar (forward or reverse grip are okay)

Power Clean – Elbows must pass the barbell when cleaned


Scaled

Hand Release push-ups from toes

Jumping Chest to Bar – Bar will be 6” above your head (5lbs plate)

Power Clean 95/65

WOD 3 – Kelly from the Crypt                                                                                  

 

12 Min AMRAP

Partner 1 – 500m Row

Partner 2 – 30 Wall Balls + 30 Box Jumps


P1 will row the 500m while P2 completes as many rounds + reps of Wall Balls and Box Jumps. Partner 1 will pick up where Partner 2 left off and P2 will row 500 meters

 

            Score is total rounds + reps (each 500m row = 10 points)

           

RX men – 20lbs (24”)

RX women – 14lbs (20”)

Scaled men – 14lbs (24”)

Scaled women – 10lbs (12”)


Standards
RX
The rower determines the exchange
Once the rower completes their 500m, they will tag out their partner and resume the wall balls and box jumps.
A full squat must be completed for each wall ball rep to count
Athlete must stand on the box at full extension and maintain stability for each rep to count


Scaled:

 A full squat must be completed for each wall ball rep to count 

  Power Clean 95/65 - elbows must pass in front of the barbell
