About This Competition

CALLING ALL BADGES

FITTEST ON THE FRONTLINE Games is open to anyone that is currently or was in a badge!

All ACT/NSW current and past Prison Guards of the AMC, ACT/NSW(Qbn) Police Force employees (including Volunteers In Policing) and full time employees of government agencies with a law enforcement role. The ACT/NSW Fire & Rescue, ACT/NSW Ambulance, Australian Border Force (Department of Immigration and Border Protection), Justice NSW, APS, ACT/NSW State Emergency Service, the Sheriffs Department, ACT/NSW Rural Fire Service, Australian Federal Police (both NSW and ACT based), Nurses and Midwives Association of ACT/NSW, as well as the Australian Defence Force employees within ACT are all invited to participate.
Retired and family members (including from the ACT) from each of these agencies are also encouraged to take part.

All competitors should be doing 'some' training and be ready for a fun and all inclusive event.

There will be three events on the day which will cover a range of things like - strength, endurance, mixed modal skills.

There will be scaling options to allow all levels to take part in some way.

*Only refund option will be if we are struck by COVID again, but NOT for any other reason.


You can subsitute athletes if someone becomes sick or inured

Workouts will NOT be released prior to the event, there will be nothing you CANNOT do in some way on the day, scaling options for all to enjoy the fun!!

Workouts

ASSAULT BIKE - MAX CALORIES

5 MINUTE TIME CAP 

Judge to record total calories when workout is at 00:00

P1 – ASSAULT BIKE

P2 - 5X BURPEE + HEAVY BALL OVER SHOULDER

Movement starts with the ball on the ground.
The athlete must then complete a modified burpee where they sprawl out with both hands remaining on the ball and with their chest contacting the ball.  They then perform a ball over shoulder completing the rep when the ball lands.

*The ball may come off the ground as the athlete comes up from the burpee.

*Athletes MUST swap every 5 burpees. Step in/out burpees are allowed.

Male weight – 45kg Ball
Female weight – 35kg Ball

FOR Time - 15 MINUTE TIME CAP

160 - Drag Rope Skips
140 - Hanging Knee Raise
120 - Cals Rower
100 - Thrusters (20/15kg Bar)
80 - Single Dumbell Overhead Lunge (15/10kg)
60 - Hand Release Push Up
40 - Single DB Devils Press (15/10kg)

** ONE ATHLETE WORKS – ONE ATHLETE RESTS
** WORK MUST BE COMPLETED IN ORDER
** WORKLOAD MUST BE 50/50
** WORKLOAD CAN BE BROKEN UP ANY WAY

This is a two-part workout with a
combined 10-minute cap

The workout starts with teams completing the
Synchronised Couplet (part A) first, once complete they have the remainder of the 10 Minute cap to complete as many attempts of the Barbell Complex (part B) as they wish until the 10 min cap is reached.

Part A - Synchronised Couplet

21 – 15 - 9
DEADLIFTS / BOX JUMP

Male – 60kg / 24”
Female – 45kg / 20”

Reps are counted when both athletes are ‘locked out’ at the top of each movement, Step-Up on boxes is allowed.

 

This is a two-part workout with a

Part B – Barbell Complex

3x - Deadlift
2x - Hang Power Clean
1x - Shoulder to Overhead

** Complex must be UNBROKEN
** BOTH athletes must have at least one attempt
** You MUST SWAP after each attempt, successful or not
** Each athlete may use the barbell they used in Part A

PART B SCORE IS THE COMBINED TOTAL WEIGHT FROM EACH ATHLETE’S BEST SUCCESSFUL COMPLEX.

THE FLOATER
This workout can be completed at any stage during the day
** SCORES MUST BE IN NO LATER THAN 1415 **
(You can have as many atempts as you like, you just need a judge)


Max Time

Synchronised Weighted Dead Hang

Each athlete will stand on a box holding the pullup bar with both hands.
Both athletes must have a dip-belt on with the prescribed weight place attached.

On the count of 3-2-1-Go, athletes will step off the box and hang for as long as they can.

As soon as one athlete drops to the ground the timer stops.

** CHALK IS OK **
** NO GRIPS **
** NO TAPE **

MALE 5kg Plate
FEMALE 2.5kg Plate
