About This Competition
Welcome to FORT FEST 2023
Sunday at 16th of July
A festival of CrossFit, Powerlifting and a celebration of the FORT and extended fitness community spirit!

The CrossFit competition details
- Both RX and scaled categories.
- Teams of 4 with Male Male Female Female combos required.
- RX category- minimum weight requirement -50/35kg clean. At least one athlete on your team must have Toes to bar and pull-ups and HSPU
- Scaled category - minimum weight requirement 40/25kg clean. Knees to chest.
The Powerlifting competition details
- 1 rep max deadlift competition ( three attempts per athlete)
- Fun bonus lift -max dumbbell floor to overhead lift!
- Deadlift Judge with a multiplier against your weight to lift ratio.

The timings
- 9:15am check in for all athletes
- 9:30 briefing and warm up time
- 9:45am CrossFit event 1 starts and first Powerlifting lifts begin
- 2pm medal ceremony, drinks and food!
This is going to be a huge summer festival and celebration of our amazing community and the start of an annual summer festival!

Workouts
1000m ski erg for time
*This is the first part of the final workout. This is a separate score from the overall workout time
In a 8 min window:
Establish a 1RM Clean for each team member
Score: Team total (heaviest successful lift for each team member)
*Teams will have 2 bars (20/15kg); only one bar may move at any given time
For time:
1000m-750m-500m ski erg
15-10-5 bar muscle ups
*This workout has two scores: 1km ski erg for time, and then the workout
*The work can be split any way you’d like
For time:
42-30-18 row calories + echo bike calories (both machines must display the calorie number)
21-15-9 handstand push up*
*One other team member must hold wall-supported handstand while work is accumulated
Time cap: 12 min
RemREP repeats:
For 4 rounds, in a 3 min window (no rest between rounds):
15 synchro (MF pair 1) thrusters (40/30kg)
20 synchro (MF pair 2) thrusters (40/30kg)
Max toes-to-bar (round 1) / pull-ups (round 2) / toes-to-bar (round 3) / pull-ups (round 4) (alternating each round)
*Once the thrusters are started, pairs cannot swap. Sets can be broken, but once MF pair 1 has started the 15 reps, they cannot swap until completed
*MF pairs can change between rounds
*All athletes can contribute to the gymnastics reps; one person working at a time
