About This Competition

Cupid's Revenge is back for the 4th year, and we are going HUGE this year. This is a coed team WOD, with Rx'd, Scaled and now a Masters (40+) category. Not only that, we're moving locations to an 18,000 sq. ft venue in the Spooky Nook Sports Complex! Look for a big purse for the winners, as well as some great stuff from our sponsors.

Workouts

8 minute time cap: Player 1: 100 lateral burpees over the bar. Player 2: 100 thrusters (95 for rx’d/65 for scaled and masters). One player moving at a time. Each players does 5 reps at a time. It doesn’t matter who is player 1 or player 2, but you cannot change once the clock starts. Score is the total numbers of reps completed. If both players are able to finish all the reps, the faster time will determine who wins.

8 minute Amrap: 5 KB snatched (24/16 rx’d and masters, 16/12 scaled), 6 box jumps overs (24’’ for all rx’d, 20’’ for scaled and masters) scaled and masters may step up, rx must jump up but may step down), 20 DU (20 single leg jumps for scaled). Player 1 goes while player 2 rests, then switch.

8 minutes for both players to find a: Rx’d: 1rm squatch snatch and overhead squat, Scaled and Masters: 1rm squat clean and front squat. The bar must remain locked out overhead for r’xd, and in the front rack for scaled and masters. Both will use the same standard 45lb bar. Score is the combined total weight.

8 minute amrap: Row for calories, Rx and masters: atomic sit ups (rx 45/25, m 25/15), Scaled: weighted sit ups (25/15). Both have to go at the same time, you may switch at any time. One doesn’t have to be moving for the other to be. Score is the total calories plus the total atomic sit ups.
