About This Competition
Crossfit Kingsboro will host the 2nd annual CrossFit Competition "Brooklyn Fit Fest" on October 13th, 2018. Brooklyn Fit Fest strives to provide the highest quality of fitness through competition, but more importantly we are merging other like minded individuals and bridging communities together through fitness.
Welcoming NYC’s most enthused Crossfitters, Brooklyn Fit Fest 2018 will consist of a 3 WOD competition. Each team will consist of two members, with an RX and scaled component to welcome various level competitors.
CrossFit Kingsboro makes a strong commitment to giving back to the community. Brooklyn Fit Fest will double as a beast cancer awareness event. Each category (RX and Scaled) 1st Place winner will receive a cash prize, as well as a check to be given to a Breast Cancer Awareness organization of their choosing.

With a 15:00 time cap, teams will perform Double DT

With an 8:00 running clock, athletes will perform:

50 Handstand push ups
With the time remaining, the team will do an AMRAP of Power Snatches (115/80)

With the time remaining, the team will do an AMRAP of Power Snatches (85/65)
Both partners begin the workout with the synchro bar facing burpees. Partners will work one at a time for the Handstand push ups & power snatches. The score for this event will be total reps completed within the time cap. Tagging in and out is not required for this event.
