Kids Fitness Competition: Spring Fling

Neuse River CrossFit, Raleigh, NC

Calling all young athletes! Join us for the Spring Fling Kids Fitness Competition, a high-energy event designed to find the best youth athletes in Raleigh, NC, across three age divisions. Whether your child is a seasoned competitor or just getting started, this competition is all about showcasing their potential in a fun, supportive atmosphere.

What to Expect:
Kids will participate in four exciting events designed to test their strength, speed, stamina, and stability. It’s not just about winning—it’s about building confidence, staying active, and discovering the joy of fitness. Plus, there are awesome prizes for top performers in each division!

Divisions:

Tiny Tigers (Ages 5-8)
Junior Jaguars (Ages 8-12)
Powerhouse Panthers (Ages 11-15)
(Overlapping age ranges allow parents to select the division that best matches their child’s skill level.)

Junior Jaguars: 3 Scaled Wall Walks, 9 Over/Under Bench Climbs, 18 Dumbbell Lunges (8 lb DB)
Powerhouse Panthers: 3 Full Wall Walks, 9 Over/Under Bench Climbs, 18 Dumbbell Lunges (20 lbs girls, 25 lbs boys)
Score: Total Rounds + Reps Completed (Higher is Better) | 8-minute AMRAP

Powerhouse Panthers: 4 min to find 3-rep max front squat 

Max thrusters in 1 min (45 lbs girls, 55 lbs boys)

 Max Wall Ball Throw (feet measured) from backwards overhead throw.
