About This Competition
Beauty Is A Beast, part of The Jenn Women's Empowerment Weekend, will feature female teams of 2 on Saturday May 14th.
We will feature female teams of two in novice, intermediate, masters 35+, and Rx divisions. We will be competing indoors at Valor Fitness in Lakeland, FL.
BIAB and The Jenn are a family and pet friendly event where you can see some of the strongest women around competing in several fun events. We'll have tons of vendors, swag, and killer prizes.
We look forward to another year of fun workouts, organized competition, and an incredible venue.
Workouts will be released in the following weeks.
We cannot wait to celebrate with the BIAB community!

Workouts
The floater workout will be a 4 minute AMRAP of d-ball over yoke. Every minute on the minute a calorie row and calorie
bike buy in must be completed. Only the d-ball over yoke will be scored. The calories are just for funzies!

Event 1 is 100 burpee box jump overs for time, while working through the following AMRAP. Event one will have a 9-minute time cap. ONE ATHLETE MUST BE ACTIVELY WORKING ON THE AMRAP AT ALL TIMES. Teams will receive one second off the time it takes to complete the burpee box jump overs for every rep completed of the AMRAP.
5 Wall Walks
10 Alternating Jumping Lunges (L&R)
15 Bar Muscle Ups
20 Pistol Squats
50’ Handstand Walk (every 5’ = 1 rep)
Masters will have 15 chest-to-bar pull ups and a 50’ seal walk
Intermediate will have 15 pull ups, 20 air squats, and a 50’ seal walk
Novice will have approximately 3-foot wall walks, 15 ring rows, 20 air squats, and a 50’ seal walk. The burpee box jump
overs are reduced to 75 reps and novice may step up and over the box.
Event three is the following for time with a 9 Minute Cap:
20 Double dumbbell a-squats
20 Synchro double kettlebell hang clean and jerks
20 Synchro single dumbbell snatches
200’ Double KB front rack walking lunge steps
20 Synchro single dumbbell snatches
20 Synchro double kettlebell hang clean and jerks
20 Double dumbbell a-squats
Weights for each division are as follows:
Rx and Masters
Dumbbell – 35lbs
Kettlebells – 30lbs
A-squat plate height – 45lb plate
Intermediate
Dumbbell – 25lbs
Kettlebells – 25lbs
A-squat plate height – 45lb plate
Novice
Dumbbell – 20lbs
Kettlebells – 20lbs
A-squat plate height – 25lb plate
Event 2 Part A is the combined weight of a snatch complex and a clean complex. Athletes will have a two-minute time cap for each complex. One athlete will complete the snatch complex, the other will complete the clean complex.
Snatch Complex:
1 snatch deadlift, 1 hang snatch, 1 snatch from the ground
Clean Complex:
1 deadlift, 1 hang clean, 1 clean from the ground
Event 2 Part B is 4 rounds for time in a you-go-I-go format.
