About This Competition

Ohhhh yeahhhhh this year we are mixing things up - Our 2023 Comp will be Same Sex Teams of 3. There will also be prize money up for Grabs for most divisions. 

Divisions include 

- Scaled: Suitable for athletes who are new to CrossFit or performed majory of their daily workouts scaled- this will be a great opportunity for you to get the feel for CrossFit comps in a friendly, supportive environment- movements may include step ups, push ups on knees, jumping pull ups/ ring rows and light-moderate weights. 

- Intermediate: Suitable for athletes who are confident in most areas of CrossFit. WILL NOT include complex gymnastics skills such as HSPU, BMU or RMU- athletes should be able to perform pull ups, push ups, box jumps, double unders and lift moderate weight. 

- Advanced: If you and your team complete majority of the Open workouts RX you will be fine. It will include moderate- heavy weights aswell as complex gymnastics movements (that atleast one partner can complete). If you're tossing up between 2 divisions.. we encourage you to challenge yourself- this will be the perfect time to get out of your comfort zone!!

- Masters 35yrs+: Will be completeing the SAME WODS as the INTERMEDIATE Category but will be on a seperate leaderboard. If you think the Intermediate guide is maybe a little too much, we would encourage you to register for the Scaled Divsion

WODs will be posted prior to the event along with WOD Demo Videos to reduce congestion within the shed on the day. 

We will do up a schedule prior to the event with Heat lists and scoring duties. 

We will have a number of "official" judges on the day, but please be aware that this is a local comp where participation and fun is the focus. While every effort will be made to inform athletes of the expected movement standards please remember judges have not formally undertaken a judges course.

REGO FEE INCLUDES COMP SHIRTS FOR YOUR TEAM 

We would suggest purchasing insurance through Comp Corner- there will be no refunds for this event. We are happy to do a direct team changes at no charge to fill your spot if required.

50 x Drag Rope Double Unders Each (one athlete working at a time and must complete all 50 before the next athlete can start their 50 reps) 

Into...

- 30 / 18 x Ring Muscle Ups (Accumulate within your team- these can be started by athlete 1 as soon as the move off the D/U's, as each athlete finishes their D/Us they can assist in accumulating reps). 

ALL ATHLETED MUST BE FINISHED DOUBLE UNDERS BEFORE MOVING Into...

- 60m Unbroken Handstand Walks (accumulate within your team - 10m increments)

Send it home with ...

- 20 x Snatch 80/57.5kg (within your team)

 

 

Intermediate -

12 minute cap

 

CASH IN:

50 x Double Unders Each (one athlete working at a time and must complete all 50 before moving to the next athlete) 

Into...

- 20 x Snatch 65kg/45kg (Accumulate within your team- these can be started by athlete 1 as soon as the move off the D/U's, as each athlete finishes their D/Us they can assist in accumulating reps). 

ALL ATHLETED MUST BE FINISHED DOUBLE UNDERS BEFORE MOVING into..

- 45m Handstand Walks / Attempts (accumulate within your team - 10m increments- can be broken up how ever you like to get through- no minimum work requirment)
