About This Competition

SEND’ER DOWN HUEY 2024

SEND’ER DOWN HUEY is back for 2024. Soak up the atmosphere, while enjoying the beautiful coastal area of Ulladulla.

Same sex pairs and mixed pairs will compete across four workouts, including weightlifting, zuu, gymnastics, and conditioning. Open and RX divisions are available. Three workouts will be released prior to the event, with one workout to be released on the day.

Movement requirements include:
Running
Snatches varying in weight starting at 15kg
Clean and Jerk varying in weight
Plate Ground to Overhead            

Med Ball Cleans

Body Weight Movements 

Ring Rows

Hanging Knee Raises

Pull Ups/ Banded Pull Ups

Toes To Bar

Chest To Bar

Bar Muscle Ups

 

Prizes for podium place getters, Name Boards and Shirts for all teams.

Shirt Order and Team board will be submitted October 30th 2023, To ensure shirt sizing and team board, registration and size must be completed prior to this date.

Workouts

8 Min Amrap (One person working, one person resting)

10 Wall Climbs

20 Box Facing Burpee Box Jump Overs

RX: 

Wall Climb: 250mm

Box: 24" males, 20" Females, jumping required

Kick Sit: Video Demo

OPEN: 

Wall Climb: 1 metre

Box: 20" both male and Female, step ups allowed

Kick Sit: Video Demo

Athletes have 1 minute to complete 10 snatches, any form is permitted Power or Squat. One athlete working one athlete resting. Athletes change own weights

Weights will ascend each minute increasing 10kg each interval.

0-1 minunte: 10 snatches completed at weight 1

1-2 minute: Rest and weight change

2-3 minute: 10 snatches completes at weight 2

3-4 minute: Rest and weight change 

4-5 minute: 10 snatches completed at weight 3

5-6 minute: Rest and weight change

6-7 minute: 10 snatches completes at weight 4

7-8 minute: Rest and weight change 

8-9 minute: 10 snatches completes at weight 5

9-10 minute: Rest and weight change 

10-11 minute: 10 snatches completed at weight 6

11-12 minute: Rest and weight change

12-13 minute: As many snatches completes at weight 7

 

If the 10 snatches are not completed within the minute the workout is finished. 

Tie Break is the time taken to complete the set of 10 reps each interval. 

Complete Run from Lighthouse to beach front,

then complete 100 Plate Ground to overhead

RX: 20kg/15kg

OPEN: 15kg/10kg

If unable to run substitute movement to be completed 100 Burpees to plate.
