About This Competition
Join us for our second annual summer team competition: The DragonBowl!
Three person team event (MMM or FFF) with nice cash payouts!
Divisions: Rx, Intermediate, Masters (120+ total age), and Scaled.
Standards:
Scaled
-Hanging knee raises, 24/20" box step ups, burpees, single unders, light barbell work, light dumbbell work, running/rowing/biking.
Intermediate & Masters
-Toes to bar, pullups, chest to bar pullups, 24/20" box jumps, burpees, double unders, moderate barbell work, moderate dumbbell work, running/rowing/biking.
Rx
-Toes to bar, chest to bar pullups, 30/24" box jumps, burpees, double unders, heavy barbell work, moderate dumbbell work, running/rowing/biking.
*one athlete must be able to do a bar muscle up and handstand walk
Registration opens 5/17/21 and closes on 7/11/21. Athletes can easily substitute a competitor if needed, but no refunds will be allowed.
There will be a minimum of 5 scored events that all teams will participate in.
Workouts will be released upon every 10 team registrations.

Workouts
Athlete A: 3 rounds
6 Power Snatch 115/85, 95/75, 75/65lb
9 Box Jumps 24/20” (S can step if desired)
Athlete B: 3 rounds
6 Front Squats 165/125, 135/95, 95,85lb
9 Box Jumps 24/20” (S can step if desired)
Athlete C: 3 rounds
6 Back Squats 205/145, 165,115, 135,95lb
9 Box Jumps 24/20” (S can step if desired)
9 min cap
-Athletes are responsible for changing weights on the barbell/keeping barbell in the competition lane, but cannot assist working athlete with movement requirements
15 min AMRAP
20 Cal Assault Bike
20 Chest to Bar Pullups (Int/M=Pullups, S=Jumping Pullups off box, if desired)
20 GHD Situps (S=GHD to Parallel, touching 24” Box)
20 Alt. Lunges w/ Kettlebell 70/53lb (Int/M=53/35lb, S=35/26lb)
5 Bar Muscle Ups (Int/M=C2B PU, S=Pullups*)
-One athlete works at a time, but any time an athlete subs in, all three teammates must do 5 synchro burpees
-Synchro burpees do not count toward score, and only have to synchronize the jump and clap
6 Rounds (Int/M/S 5 Rounds)
Using 2 athletes only per round:
12 Synchro Toes to Bar (S:Synchro Hanging Knee Raises)
9 Solo Deadlifts (Rx:275/195lb, Int/M:225/155lb, S: 185/125lb)
-One athlete Deadlifts at a time, can switch Deadlifting athlete whenever
-The two athletes that start a given round must finish it, no subbing in an athlete mid-round
400m Relay (100m door to door 4x)
1 athlete at a time runs 400m, any order
-One athlete runs with a 25lb plate, one runs with 45lb plate, one runs with no plate, carried any style
300 Double Under Buy-in (200 for Int/Masters, 300 Single Unders for Scaled)
Remaining time for each athlete to establish 2 rep max unbroken Hang Squat Clean Thruster
-One athlete jumps rope at a time, switching as desired
-Athletes cannot load the bar until jump roping is completed
-Completion time of the jump ropes are a tiebreak for the max lift
-Barbell must be deadlifted up to begin first rep, from there it can be squat cleaned from hang, then thrusered up overhead in one motion. A power clean into front squat, or squat clean and jerk will not count.
-Athletes can dip under the bar on the way up for the thruster if it is a fluid movement and the bar does not stop
