The Generational Invitational 2019
About This Competition
Grab a friend, young or old, and join us for a unique and fun-filled competition. The Generational Invitational is back this year with a new twist. We will again be hosting a combined age, team of 2 competition (MM, FF and MF). This year we are only making a single age grouping but offering two divisions - Rx and Intermediate. Combined ages of participants must be 70 years or older. The new twist comes in the form of advantages for each workout based on the combined ages of the team. The more years of combined ages of the team, the greater the advantage within the workouts. There will be more details to come in the future, but please plan to come out participate and have a great time with some friends!
Athletes will be tested on a wide variety of CrossFit movements. The weights will be manageable for the intermediate – Rx level competitor. Please review the below standards:

Workouts
Combined Age of Team. Total combined age of team within each division will receive 250 pts and remaining teams will be awarded pro-rated points based on placement.
Part 1 (AMRAP 6 minutes)
Partner 1: Handstand Hold Against the Wall
Partner 2: Max Reps Snatch (115/75)
Intermediate: Dumbbell Snatch (50/35)

Part 2 (AMRAP 6 minutes)
Partner 1: Hang From Rig
Partner 2: Max Reps Front Squats (115/75)
Intermediate: Dumbbell Goblet Squats (50/35)
** Partners may switch at any time (Part 1 and/or Part 2) but each time partner on wall or rig breaks the team must run a 100 meter penalty lap **
1 minute per 7 stations

12 Min AMRAP
Score 1 (WOD 3) Partners complete a 2k Row, switching every 500
Score 2 (WOD 3a) While not rowing, partner completes AMRAP of
10 Toes to Bar (int: Hanging Leg Raises)
12 Box Jumps (24/20) (int: Box Set-Ups Permitted)
14 Wall Ball Shots (20/14)
Once 2k Row is completed, both partners can split the work of the AMRAP as desired. The 2k Row and Rounds and Reps of AMRAP are separately scored events.
Strong Man's Playground
50' out 50' back of:
- Sled Push
- Yoke Carry
- Farmer Carry
- Sand Bag Carry
Then, 10 tire flips
Score: Total time to complete
Standing Long Jump
Both Athletes make one attempt at Standing Long Jump. Total Inches of both athletes jumps is the score. Jump distance will be measured by rear most point of contact (foot, hand if fell etc.)
