The Masters League is proud to announce for 2022 a Team Series competition. This is designed to allow teams of 2 from all over Australia and Internationally to compete against each other in multiple divisions. Teams of 2 consist of one Male and one female.
HOW IT WORKS
The Team Series competition starts with a one day event that will be held in July 2022 as a Throwdown.
The Top two Teams on the day from each Division and age group will qualify and compete at the Masters League Games on the 14-16th of October in Melbourne Australia.
NOTE: This Competition is also open to athletes that DO NOT want to qualify for the 2022 Masters League Games.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
Warrior athletes cannot compete in Soldier same as Hero in Warrior but Soldier may compete in either Warrior and Hero divisions.
Athletes within a team need to be from the same state.
Individual Athletes that make it through to the 2022 ML Games are also able to compete in the Mixed Pairs Team Series.
NOTE: TEAM SERIES ATHLETES THAT HAVE NOT REGISTERED FOR THE 2022 ML OPEN MAY STILL PARTICIPATE.

ACCEPTABLE WITHIN A TEAM
If you are competing in the Warrior division and your partner is aged between 40-44 and you are aged between 35-39, you must register in the 35-39 age group.

FLOW:
This workout begins with both athletes starting behind a line at least 2m from the rig.
After the call of 3, 2, 1 GO both athletes will run over to complete 2 rounds of 18 synchronised T2B and front squats. Then they will both move to the next 2 movements and complete 2 rounds of 12 synchronised Pull Ups and S2OH.
From there they will move to complete the last 2 rounds of 9 synchronised BMU and Thrusters.
Both athletes must then run back to the start line.

This workout begins with both athletes standing in front of their barbell.
After the call of 3, 2, 1 GO athlete 1 will complete in 2:30min of a 3min block, 30 hang power cleans and in the remaining time max calorie assault bike.
At the end of that 3min block athlete 2 may then begin their 3min block completing their 30 hang power cleans and in the remaining time of 2:30min max calorie assault bike.
In the next 3min block, athlete 1 must complete as many burpee box jump overs as possible within 2:30min. At the end of the 3min block athlete 2 may begin their 3min block completing as many burpee box jump overs as possible in 2:30min.
In the last 3min block, athlete 1 must complete 30 slam balls and in the remaining time of 2:30min max calorie row.
At the end of the 3min block athlete 2 may begin their 3min block to complete 30 slam balls and in the remaining time of 2:30min max calorie row.
