The Hybrid Fitness Games is a competition to test your team of 3 to the fullest. Expect all attributes of fitness to be tested from speed to endurance, strength and power all the while making sure your team has a clear strategy in order to get to the top of the leaderboard and take the title of Hybrid Fitness Games champions 2024.
After the success of last year we will once again be holding both male and female scaled and RX divisions.
Workouts will be released before the comp.
Movement standards
Scaled:
Knee raises
Wall balls - 4kg/6kg
Sandbags TBC
Dependent on movement:
Female - 20-30kg barbell cycling
Men - 35-45kg barbell cycling
RX:
Pull ups
Toes to bar
Wall balls - 6kg/9kg
Sandbags TBC
Dependent on movement:
Female - 30-40kg barbell cycling
Men - 50-60kg barbell cycling
This competition is accessible for all from the beginner to the advanced so assemble your same sex teams of 3 and get booked on before tickets sell out.
We hope to see all those back who competed last year and welcome new teams to our gym.

Workouts
Workout 1
8 MIN AMRAP
Distance on Rower
Distance on Ski
8m Sled push reps
Score is full sled lengths completed + total meters on both ergs.
Each team member will be on one station. Teams can change stations whenever they choose.
Barbell complex: 12 mins to find heaviest team total weight lifted.
RX divisions will take the bar from the floor and either clean or power clean the bar to achieve a front rack position.
Scaled will take from the half rack.
From there the complex is 2 Front squats, 1 shoulder to overhead, 2 front squats.

Teams will run 1km, they do not have to run together. As soon as the first person is back, they can get on the assault bike but can only start pedaling once the second person has picked up the sandbag. If the bag goes down, the bike must stop. The bag must be held at the hips at all times.
§RUN
Score is max distance on the assault bike while 1 person bear hugs sandbag, Mens RX/SCALED = 60/50kg
Female RX/SCALED = 40/30kg
