About This Competition

ALLSTAR ALLIANCE TEAM SERIES

Hundreds of CrossFit Affiliate teams & Functional Fitness Gyms of four (2 males & 2 females) battle it out for the top spots in Advanced, Intermediate, Masters, Scaled and Teen divisions.

Two-day Qualifier Events are held across Australia to find the top affiliates in each state that will then progress to the National Final.  After each event, rankings are released per division, per state and nationally.

We are all about fun and participation.  If you can do a push up off your knees you can compete.  If you don’t have enough members from your affiliate you can still compete, just email info@allstaralliance.com.au and we will help place you in a great team.

CATEGORIES

The Allstar Affiliate Series is open to all athletes catering from Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Athletes.

Allstars has an Open Division consisting of Affiliate/Functional Fitness Gym's (this split's into RXD, Intermediate and Scaled after day one of competition), Non-Affiliate teams, Teen, Masters (35-44) and Masters (45+) divisions.

All workouts can be scaled, and we would encourage all athletes to participate and have fun regardless of their lifting ability.

WAIVER

All athletes must complete the Allstars Waiver prior to competing. Please have all team members complete the waiver prior to attending and competing. The waiver can be found under the Competitions Tab on the website.

Further information can be found at www.allstaralliance.com.au

Final Rule is to have fun and be safe!

Workouts

Workout Flow
This event begins with all athletes on the start mat. There is no minimum work requirement within any movement.
On the 3,2,1 go the FF Pair will have 7 mins to complete 30 Toes to bar with one person working, while one person is hanging from
the bar (with feet off the ground), at the completion of the T2B the athletes will move on to perform 50 Wall balls, followed by 200
Double Unders followed by 30 toes to bar (with one athlete hanging). The FF pair will move to the finish mat and record a time, At
the 7 min mark the M/M pair will complete the workout, in the same manner, having until the 14-minute mark to complete the
workout and then moving to the finish mat.
Events 1 has a time cap of 7mins for each pair, and a total time cap of 14 minutes.

Movement Standards
Toes to Bart
In the toes-to-bar, the athlete must go from a full hang to having the toes touch the pull-up bar. At the start of each rep, the arms
must be fully extended, and the heels must be brought back behind the bar. Athletes may wear hand protection (tape, gymnastics
style grips, gloves, etc.), but they may not tape the actual pull-up bar. Overhand, underhand, or mixed grip are all permitted.
The rep is credited when both feet come into contact with the bar at the same time, between the hands. Any part of the feet may
make contact with the bar.
.
Wall Balls
In the wall-ball shot, the wall ball must be taken from the bottom of a squat, hip crease below the knee, and thrown to hit the
specified target.
The rep is credited when the centre of the ball hits the target at or above the specified target height. If the ball hits low or does not
hit the wall/target, it is a “no rep.” If the ball drops to the ground from the top, it cannot be caught off the bounce to begin the next
rep. The ball must settle on the ground before being picked up for the next rep.
Double Unders
A Double-Under is executed when the rope passes under the feet twice for each jump. The rope must spin forward for the rep to
count. Only successful jumps are counted, not attempts.
Substitutions –
Scaled / Master 45+ / Teens = Hanging Knee Raises / 2 for 1 Wall Ball Thrusters / 200 Single Skips
RX / Intermediate / 35 - 44 = No Substitutions
