About This Competition
Calling all athletes! The Relentless Spring Fling is back on May 10th, 2025 for the third year!
Join us for a same sex partner competition featuring RX and Scaled divisions, where you and your teammate will battle it out through four challenging workouts (3 scheduled + 1 floater).
Workouts posted* with video demos.
*Workouts may and can be modified as deemed necessary by competition planners

Workouts
Workout 1a and 1b:
RX and Scaled
In an 8 minute Window
Partner A:
Build to a 3 Rep Front Squat Max
*May hold front rack with any hand position, no grips/straps allowed
Partner B:
Build to a 1 Rep Shoulder to Overhead
*8 Minute Window Is for both lifts. Partners can lift at any point during the 8 minutes but only one may do the front squats and the other do shoulder to overhead. All lifts will come from off the rack.

In an 8 minute Window
Partner A:
Build to a 3 Rep Front Squat Max
*May hold front rack with any hand position, no grips/straps allowed

AMRAP 8 (You Go I Go Style)
2* Toes to Bar
2* Deadlifts @ 225/155
8 Synchro Bar Facing Burpees
*Reps increase by two each round
**Partner A will do one round of 2 toes to bars and 2 deadlifts. Both partners will then work through the 8 synchro bar facing burpees. Then partner B will do one round of 4 toes to bar and 4 deadlifts. Both will do the 8 synchro bar facing burpees. Then Partner A will do one round of 6 and 6. This pattern will continue until the time is up.
Scaled
AMRAP 8 (You Go I Go Style)
2* Plate Sit Ups @ 35/25
2* Deadlifts @ 135/95
8 Synchro Bar Facing Burpees
*Reps increase by two each round
**Partner A will do one round of 2 plate sit ups and 2 deadlifts. Both partners will then work through the 8 synchro bar facing burpees. Then partner B will do one round of 4 plate sit ups and 4 deadlifts. Both will do the 8 synchro bar facing burpees. Then Partner A will do one round of 6 and 6. This pattern will continue until the time is up.
***Plate must stay overhead and not used to create momentum during sit ups

30 Single DB Hang Power Snatch @ 40/25
30 Air Squats
Floater:
AMRAP 4
Buy in:
30/20 Calorie Row Each (Both working at same time)
Then:
Max Effort Axle Bar Hang Power Cleans @ 110/70 (Scaled 70/50)
**No speed cleans allowed
**No flip grip allowed
