About This Competition

Be apart of the first AACFA online competition! 

7 days to complete 3 workouts as an Individual.

Competition opens - Thursday 29 September 0600 AEST

Competition closes - Thursday 6 October 2100 AEST

 

The competition categories include:

  • Open Male 
  • Open Female
  • Scaled Male
  • Scaled Female
  • Open Masters 40+ 
  • Scaled Masters 40+

 

Equipment Required:

  • Barbell (20/15kg)
  • Weight plates (good variety)
  • Dumbbells (22.5kg, 15kg, 12.5kg depending on category)
  • Skipping rope
  • Rower
  • Pull-up bar (with enough space to do bar muscle ups - depending on category) 

 

Division Movements/Standards:

  • Open

Be able to complete the CrossFit Open without scaling.

Expect to see: Deadlifts, Cleans, Thrusters, Shoulder to Overhead, Double Dumbbell Front Squats, Devils Press, Double Unders, Pull-up, Chest to Bar, Bar Muscle Ups

  • Scaled 

Be able to complete the CrossFit Open, however may need to scale weight/gymnastic movements. 

Expect to see: Deadlifts, Cleans, Thrusters, Shoulder to Overhead, Double Dumbbell Front Squats, Devils Press, Single Skips, Pull-up

6 minutes to build to a heavy complex:

1 deadlift + 1 hang power clean + 1 shoulder to overhead
