About This Competition

DIVISIONS:  (Elite & RX), Scaled, Team, Masters.

  • All division must compete in the online qualifer to obtain a spot in the 3 day event in June.  There are no refunds for online participation.

Elite & RX

  • Athletes should select this division if they are traditionally an RX athlete in the Open. All movements and standards will mimic that which you would commonly see in a typical Open competition.
  • All individual competitors for the Elite and RX division will compete in the same online qualifier. The top 20 athletes will be invited to compete in the Elite division for the 3 day event in June, pending video submission and validation. The next 20 athletes will be invited to compete in the RX division.

Scaled

  • Athletes should select this division if they are traditionally a scaled athlete in the Open. All movements and standards will mimic that which you would commonly see in a typical Open competition.
  • The top 20 athletes from this division will be invited to compete in the 3 day event in June, pending video submission and validation.

Masters 35-39

  • Athletes should select this division if their 35th birthday falls before April 1, 2019. No exceptions.
  • The top 10 athletes from this division will be invited to compete in the 3 day event in June, pending video submission and validation.

Masters 40-44

  • Athletes should select this division if their 40th birthday falls before April 1, 2019. No exceptions.
  • The top 10 athletes from this division will be invited to compete in the 3 day event in June, pending video submission and validation.

Masters 45-49

  • Athletes should select this division if their 45th birthday falls before April 1, 2019. No exceptions.
  • The top 10 athletes from this division will be invited to compete in the 3 day event in June, pending video submission and validation.

Masters 50-54

  • Athletes should select this division if their 50th birthday falls before April 1, 2019. No exceptions.
  • The top 10 athletes from this division will be invited to compete in the 3 day event in June, pending video submission and validation.

Masters 55+

  • Athletes should select this division if their 55th birthday falls before April 1, 2019. No exceptions.
  • The top 10 athletes from this division will be invited to compete in the 3 day event in June, pending video submission and validation.

CO-ED Teams of 4

  • Two male and two female athletes will register as a team of 4. Only those athletes will be allowed to participate in the qualifier on behalf of their team. There is only one division for this category.
  • The top 20 teams will be invited to compete in the 3 day event in June, pending video submission and validation.

REGISTRATION WINDOW: 2/4/2019 - 4/08/2019

Athletes and teams may register up until the online qualifier submission deadline.

QUALIFIER:

  • Online qualifier opens:  12:00 AM PST Monday, April 1, 2019. 
  • Online qualifier closes: 11:59 PM PST Sunday, April 7, 2019.

All qualifer workouts will be announced simultaneously at 12:00 am PST on April 1, 2019.  Athletes will have through April 7th to complete and submit.  If they have not been received by that time for any reason, submissions will not be accepted.  

Athletes & teams may attempt each workout as many times as they feel necessary during the qualifier window.  For qualifying spots per division, please see each division's event description.

INVITATIONS:

  • First round sent:  April 10th
  • 2nd round invitations sent: April 15th

VIDEO:

Video submission deadline: 12:00 AM PST April 13th

  • Each qualifying athlete will be required to submit a video of their performance in one of the qualifying workouts.  
  • Athletes will not know which event will be requested, and are strongly urged to video all submissions.

Video submission standards:

  • Athletes must clearly state their name and division at the beginning of each video, and remain in frame for duration of the video.  Video must be uncut.  All movements and reps must clearly be demonstrated to standard in full view.

*If athletes successfully complete the work within 3:00, they immediately earn an additional 3:00 to complete 4 reps of the movements.  If this is done before 6:00, they earn an additional 3:00 to complete 6 reps of the movements.  This pattern continues until the athlete fails to finish the prescribed work before the allotted time expires.

ELITE:

Within 3:00, complete:
