Semper Fi Showdown
About This Competition
The Semper Fi Showdown is a test of fitness for teams of 2! We are working hard to make this a day you won't forget so find a partner, grab your hype crew and join us at the Lebanon Fairground Agriculture Pavillion for a true test of strength, speed and stamina- all to benefit a great organization- Semper Fi & America's Fund.
The Semper Fi Showdown comprises 2-person teams in the following divisions:
Rx Men
Rx Women
Scaled Men
Scaled Women
A list of movement standards, workout releases as well as additional info and announcements will be posted on the CrossFit 610 facebook page and @cf610 on instagram.
(There will NOT be pull ups or muscle ups for either division.)
DETAILS
Participants must be at least 16 years of age. Anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent.
You may switch divisions until August 7 but you MUST contact CrossFit 610 to get the switch approved! You may substitute athletes without notice but you will not be able to exchange shirts.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds will not be administered for a rescheduled or postponed event.
No refunds for any reasons other than a cancelled event.
Team registrations may be transferred to another team, but payment must be handled privately between those individuals.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If The Semper Fi Showdown is cancelled, you will receive a 100% refund if the shirts have not been printed. If the shirts have been printed, you will receive your registration fee, less $30 and your shirts will be mailed to you.
FAQS
What do I get for signing up?
All athletes are guaranteed 3 workouts.
All athletes will be given a registration pack with a variety of items as well as an event shirt.
Podium teams will win prizes and medals.
Do I need to be part of a gym to compete?
No, you do not need to be a member of a gym to compete! If you aren't affiliated with a gym, when registering, under the (box/gym) heading, enter "Independent".
We encourage participation from our area affiliates! There will be a special banner awarded to the gym with the most teams registered!
How much does it cost for spectators?
Nothing, but we ARE raising funds for a great organization and we will be accepting cash donations at the door, so, ya know...hint hint.

Workouts
On a 17 min clock:
4 rounds, switching partners each round:
partner 1- max calorie air bike
partner 2- 5-point suicide sprint
(Each partner will bike for calories and sprint, twice)
In remaining time, as many reps as possible of:
12 syncronized devil's press
25 double unders (each)
100 m partner barbell farmer carry
On a 17 min clock:
4 rounds, switching partners each round:
partner 1- max calorie air bike
partner 2- 5-point suicide sprint
(Each partner will bike for calories and sprint, twice)
In remaining time, as many reps as possible of:
12 syncronized devil's press
25 double unders (each)
100 m partner barbell farmer carry
On a 17 min clock:

12 syncronized devil's press (50# male/ 35# female)
25 double unders (each)
100 m partner barbell farmer carry (185# male/ 135# female)
12-16-20-24-28
Thrusters (115 male/75 female)
200 M Run
Teams may split reps of thrusters however they choose, but the run must be completed together. The run will folow each set of thrusters, so the event will end with a 200 m run. These are standard barbell thrusters- hip crease below parallel in the squat, full extension at the top. Failing to bring the weight back down under control (dropping the bars) will result in a no rep.
Every 3 Minutes for 4 Rounds:
Partner 1 performs a complex of:
6 snatch grip deadlift
3 hang power snatch
6 overhead squat
3 squat snatch
Upon completion, partner 2 performs a complex of:
6 deadlift
3 hang power clean
6 front squat
3 squat clean
Increase weight each round as able.
Score = total weight of ALL rounds.
Grip must be maintained throughout complex.
