About This Competition

DELTA FORCE 3-Person Team Functional Fitness/ CF Competition

When: Sunday, December 4th. 730AM-3PM

Where: CrossFit Lifted Milliken Ave Ontario CA 91762

Delta Force is a 3-person, same gender (MMM or FFF), functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels.

If you are new to CF, this is a great first comp. Our SCALED division loads are do-able for those with less than 6 month CF experience.  If you are a veteran CFer, our workouts will challenge you while still having FUN at the same time!  Don't miss your chance to compete in this Epic team event!  Grab 2 friends and build your power team. Register early, this event will sell out fast.

PRICING FEE SCHEDULE: (+processing fee)*

AUG 1 - SEP 30: $83 per person ($249/team)*

NOV 1 - NOV 15: $88 per person ($265/team)*

NOV 15 - NOV 21: $95 per person ($285/team)*

NOV 22-SOLD OUT until sold out: $100 per person ($300/team)*

4 DIVISIONS:  Teams consist of 3 people - same gender (3 men or 3 women): Men's Advanced/Rx, Women's Advanced/Rx, Men's Intermediate/Scaled, Women's Intermediate/scaled. Prizes awarded to Top finishers in each division.

TO REGISTER:

One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members' names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering.

Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 3 persons, (3) Event T-shirts, (1) Team Name Plate, 5+ scored workouts, and lots of FUN with the fitness community. 

 

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Athlete substitution accepted up until event day, by having your new athlete sign your team waiver prior to start of event. 

 

WORKOUT I – TRIPLE DOUBLE (13 minutes)

"TRIPLE"  AMRAP 5 minutes

20 Thrusters ADV 95/65, INT 75/55 - BB cannot touch the ground during AMRAP portion on WOD

20 Alternating DB snatch ADV 50/35, INT 45/25

6 Bar MUs (ADV) / C2B Pull Ups or Jumping C2B Pull ups (INT)

 

Then with remaining time, immediately perform  "DOUBLE"

 E2 - 3-REP Bench Press

 E3 - 4-REP Front Squat

 

WOKOUT III - CALORIE DEFICIT (6 minutes)

E5 – CAL Rower 

E6 – CAL Bike

E7 – 30-FT Framer Carry, ADV 120/90, INT 90/50, FUN 30 (load per bar)

One athlete at each station. On 3-2-1..Go! All athletes will begin performing their respective movements. A1 will perform CAL Row. A2 will perform CAL Bike. A3 will perform Farmer Carry. Athletes will rotate every 2 minutes until each athlete has performed at each station. This event has 3 separate scores: max calorie rower, max calorie bike, and max reps farmer carry. Time cap: 6 minutes. 

 

WORKOUT II - SANDBAG LADDER (Presented by GREYFIT)

MEN - 70, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225 lbs.

WOMEN - 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150 lbs.

Workouts

TRIPLET DOUBLE-PART A

E1 – AMRAP 5 minutes

  • 20 Thrusters*, ADV 95/65, INT 75/55, FUN 55 *(Barbell must remain off ground throughout entire workout)
  • 20 Alternating DB snatch ADV 50/35, INT 35/25, FUN 20 lbs
  • 6 Bar MUs (ADV) / C2B Pull Ups (INT) / Jumping Pull Ups (FUN)

Then immediately after perform PART 2 (E2/E3)

 

WOD Description: On 3-2-1…Go! A1 will enter the grid and perform Thursters, while A2+A3 wait at the start line. Only one athlete may work at one time. Athletes may switch at any time. After 20 thrusters are complete, then the team will perform 20 alternating DB snatches, then 6 Bar Muscle Ups (ADV), Chest2Bar Pull ups or Jumping C2B Pull Ups (INT), Jumping chin-over bar pull ups (FUN). This sequence will continue until the time cap is reached. Team must keep empty barbell off of floor during entire workout for repetitions to count. Score is the sum of repetitions accumulated within the time cap. Time cap: 5 minutes. 

 

TRIPLE DOUBLE - PART B

FIND A HEAVY (off the rack)

  • 3-REP BENCH PRESS 
  • 4-REP FRONT SQUAT 

WOD DESCRIPTION - Immediately, following AMRAP Triplet, athletes will then find a heavy #-REP Bench Press and 4-REP Front Squat. Team will have 1 set of each 2.5,5,10,15,25,35, and 2-sets of 45 lbs. All lifts will be from off the rack. Teammates may help load/unload the barbell. Any or all athletes may lift. This event has 2 separate scores – Heaviest lifted 3-REP Bench Press recorded, and heaviest lift 4-REP Front Squat recorded. Time cap: 8 minutes.

TRIPLE DOUBLE-PART C

FIND A HEAVY (off the rack)

3-REP BENCH PRESS

WOD DESCRIPTION - Immediately, following AMRAP Triplet, athletes will then find a heavy #-REP Bench Press and 4-REP Front Squat. Team will have 1 set of each 2.5,5,10,15,25,35, and 2-sets of 45 lbs. All lifts will be from off the rack. Teammates may help load/unload the barbell. Any or all athletes may lift. This event has 2 separate scores – Heaviest lifted 3-REP Bench Press recorded, and heaviest lift 4-REP Front Squat recorded. Time cap: 8 minutes.

SANDBAG LADDER  (Presented by GREYFIT)

MEN 70#, 80#, 90#, 100#, 125#, 150#, 175#, 200#, 225#

WOMEN 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150 lbs.

 

Every minute on the minute (EMOM), Team will have 1 minute total for each athlete to perform a SB clean from the floor to the shoulder.  A successful lift is required for the athlete to advance to the next station. If an athlete fails to complete the lift, the athlete will then perform SB Deadlifts for tie breaker.  The failed athlete may continue to move with the team but will not be allowed to lift heavier consequent SB. Score is the SUM of the heaviest successful lift performed by the team. 

CALORIC DEFICIT (6 minutes)

E5 – CAL Rower 

E6 – CAL Bike

E7 – 30-FT Framer Carry, ADV 120/90, INT 90/50, FUN 30 (load per bar)
