About This Competition

CrossFit 916 is excited to announce the return of the Golden Bear Games 2022 on December 10th 2022.


Last year we had an amazing turnout  with 164 athletes and we are back for a bigger and better year!

This year our event will be a proving ground for you to showcase your fitness level with another challenging test.

We are adding a Masters Division! (team age adding to 80+)

3 workouts for everyone and the top 5 will make it to a final.

You definitely do not want to miss out so grab your fit friends and show us what you got!

Intermediate - Dumbbell (70/50#), 30 Chest-2-Bar Pull-Ups

Masters - Dumbbell (70/50#), 18 Bar Muscle Ups

 

*Dumbbell reps does not have to be alternating

**Dumbbell Snatch and Clean & Jerks may be power or squat

***All work is split as desired

10 Synchronized Pistols (each leg)

50ft Handstand Walk (each) (25ft segments)

Round 2 - 10 Synchronized Burpee Box Jumps

Handstand Ramp ascent (each)

Round 3 - 25ft Handstand Walk Half Way performing full pirouette turn in 4x4 Box.

In The Remaining Time As Many Pegboard Ascents* (split as desired)

 

Intermediate: 

Rd 1- 15 Synchronized Box Jump Overs (24'/20') (touching the box), 20 Pistols (split as desired), 50ft Plank Slider Walk (each) (25ft increments)

Rd 2 - 10 Synchronized Burpee Box Jumps, 50ft Single Arm Dumbbell Overhead Walking Lunge (each) (50/35#) (25ft increments)

Rd 3 - 25ft Handstand Walk (each), Remaining Time Max Rope Climbs (to rafter) (split as desired)

 

Masters:

Rd 1-  15 Synchronized Box Jump Overs (24'/20') (touching the box), 16 Rollback Pistols (split as desired), 100ft Plank Slider Walk (each) (25ft increments)

Rd 2 - 10 Synchronized Burpee Box Jumps, 50ft Single Arm Dumbbell Overhead Walking Lunge (each) (50/35#) (25ft increments)

1,000 Meter Run (together)

16 Wall Walks (split as desired)

40 Clean & Jerks (135/95#)(split as desired)

*all while wearing 20/14lb weight vest (bring a vest to play)

 

Intermediate - no vest and will complete 20 wall walks (135/95#)

Masters - will use vest and barbell is (115/80#)
