About This Competition

 

Fitness Coliseum is bringing you our FIRST true CrossFit Competition!


Teams of two (MM/FF/MF) will work together to complete challenging and fun twists on some of our favorite CrossFit benchmark workouts!


We chose this format because benchmarks are benchmarks for a reason. They are some of the truest tests of our overall fitness, capacity and skill, and THAT is what we want this competition to be!


RX and Scaled divisions will be available, and you can compete on same sex or mixed teams, with a podium for all 6 divisions!

We have some fun, custom SWAG planned for participants as well so GET READY!

Additional Details:

RX Standards: RX participants should be able to do double unders to some degree, be comfortable with a 35/50 DB, 14/20 wall ball, and be able to cycle a barbell in olympic and power lifts at light/moderate weights. 

Scaled Standards: Scaled participants should be able to do single unders, be comfortable with a 25/35lb DB, 10/14lb wall ball and be familier with and able do to some cycling of a barbell in olympic and power lifts at light weights

Refunds will be unable to be provided, but substitions are allowed up until check in on comp day. 

Bring chairs, snacks, drinks, friends, family, anything that will help you enjoy your day! Keep your eye on the event page of facebook for sponsor updates, workout releases and other fun info!

Workouts

Andi Climbs Everest
For time with a partner:
100 hang power snatches
100 push presses
100 sumo deadlift high pulls
100 front squats
 
Complete in 4 rounds

RX
Round 1, the first 40 reps of each movement are done at 45/65
Round 2, the next 30 reps of each movement are done at 65/95
Round 3, the next 20 reps of each movement are done at 85/105
Round 4, the last 10 reps of each movement are done at 95/115
 

SCALED

Round 1, the first 40 reps of each movement are done at 35/45
Round 2, the next 30 reps of each movement are done at 45/55
Round 3, the next 20 reps of each movement are done at 55/75
Round 4, the last 10 reps of each movement are done at 65/95


-Split reps as desired between partners, only one partner lifting at a time
 
 
 

Annie May I?
 
50-40-30-20-10 reps for time of:
 
• Double-Unders
 
• Sit-ups
 
One partner starts on double unders. They do as many unbroken as the can/chose.
When the break the other partner must do that many sit ups.
Continue this pattern until the round of 50 is complete then switch partners on the skils and continue for the round of 40


Switch every time you complete a round.

Scaled will perform 2:1 Single unders

3 rounds for time of:
20 *Rig Reps*
21 single dumbbell snatches 50/35 (25/35 sc)
12 double dumbbell thrusters 50/35 (25/35 sc)
 
*RX Rig Reps*
Round 1: 20 Burpees to Target
Round 2: 20 Pull Ups
Round 3: 20 T2B

*Scaled Rig Reps*

Round 1: 20 Burpees to Target

Round 2: 20 Ring Rows

Round 3: 20 Hanging knee raises

CAP 15 Min:

This workout will lead directly into workout 4.

Workout 4 will be begin IMMEDIATLY at the 15 minute mark. 

If teams finish Ellen before the 15 minute cap they will have any remaining time until the cap as rest. If teams do not finish Ellen, at 15 minutes they will go directly to workout 4. 

Immediatly following workout 3, at 15 min mark, Karen time starts

150 Partner Wall Balls for time.

Partner wall balls are performed by partner one squatting below parrallel with the ball, throwing too target height, partner two recieving the ball, squating below parallel and throwing to target height. A Rep is counted when the ball hits taget height.

Sc: 14/12

M/F teams will use female ball weight

One Partner Working at a time, split the reps as desired
