About This Competition

ONE YEAR CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING

This is a masters, scaled and Rx CrossFit team competition. It features 2-person teams (male/male and female/female) in one of the most exciting series of workouts in the Louisville area.


Athletes will compete in 4 challenging WODs throughout the day at Fern Creek CrossFit. The top 3 teams in the RX division will receive a cash prize. Master and scaled divisions top 3 teams will enjoy a large prize package. Health and fitness vendors will be on site during the competition as well. Spectators are welcomed!


This year we are partnering with the Nick Rodman Legacy Foundation in support of The Center for Women and Families. A portion of the event proceeds will be donated through the Nick Rodman Foundation, benefiting The Center of Women and Families. Our efforts are focused on recognizing and supporting strong women in our family, gym family, and community.

Disclaimer: FCCF deserves the right to cancel the event due to lack of registered athletes or bad weather (Refunds will be granted in this case). We also may cap the event to a certain number of participants in order to stay within compliance of the facilities fire code.

Workouts

11 Minute AMRAP - Partners will split repetitons evenly before progressing to the next movement.

  • 50/40 Calories Assault Bike
  • 40 - Alternating Pistols (RX Pistols) (Scaled Air Squat) (Masters 30 Pistols)
  • 20-Front squat (RX 185/115) (Scaled 115/85) (Masters 135/95)

Scoring is the total number of repetitions in 11 minutes.

  • Partners will split repetitions evenly before progressing to the next movement.
  • Repetitions can be completed in sets based on athletes preference.
  • Pistols can begin with either leg, but must alternate for every repetition. 
  • Front squat repetition will begin with a barbell on the floor. Squat clean will not count as a repetition.
  • Tie break is the time of completion of 1st round.

For Repetitions:  4 minute AMRAP

  • Partner 1 - 200 meters on the Assault Runner
  • Partner 2 - 6 D-Ball over the shoulder (RX 100/80) (Scaled/Masters 80/60) nds and repetitions in 4 minutes.
  1. Athletes must switch movements every (6) repetitions of the D-Ball over the shoulder and 200 meters on the Assault Runner.
  2. D-Ball must travel completely over the shoulder.  
    Athletes may alternate shoulders as they prefer.
  3. Every 50 meters is considered (1) repetition. 
  4. A full round is considered to be complete after partner 1 completes 200 meters and partner 2 completes (6) repetitions with the D-Ball.

For time, partner will spilt as desired.  15 minute time cap.

100/80 - Calorie Row
100 -  Double Unders (RX DU) (Scaled SU) (Masters DU 80)
100 - Alternating Dumbbell Snatch (RX 50/35) (Scaled 35/20) (Masters 50/35 - 80)
100 - Toes to Bar (RX T2B) (Scaled Legs above Waist) (Masters T2B 80)

For Load: 10 minute time cap

Athletes will have 10 minutes to establish an individual maximum weight complex of the following,

  • 1 Squat Clean
  • 1 Front Squat
  • 1 Jerk (Push/Split)

Scoring is combined total weight of each athlete.

  1. Partners may change at any time, or make consecutive attempts. 
  2. Complex must be completed by the same athlete that began the complex.  
  3. Athletes' hands cannot leave the barbell. Athletes can rest in the front rack.
