About This Competition

Are you the sugar or the spice? Grab a partner and find out at CFE’s “Sugar and Spice” co-ed team competition!

This is a co-ed 2-person team competition open for all athletes. There are RX, Scaled and Masters (40-49, 50+) RX and Scaled divisions.

Join us on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 8:30AM for this sweet, hot, friendly and challenging team competition.

Cost: $149 + processing fees per team - T-Shirts for all who register by 09/12/2021

Prizes to Top 3 in each Division

6 Total Divisions:

RX, Masters RX (40-49), Masters RX (50+)

Scaled, Masters Scaled (40-49), Masters Scaled (50+)

** Average age of athletes to compete in Masters age categories, example: Athlete #1 is 47 years old, Athlete #2 is 35 years old, average age 41, they would compete in the 40-49 division.

50 Cal Row

100 Deadlifts --- Top of Deadlift hold

50 Russian KB --- Top of Plank Hold

50 Thrusters --- Bottom of Squat Hold

* During the WOD partner 1 works & partner 2 is holding.
* Each partner completes 50% of the reps above before switching places.
* Working partner stops if/when the "holding" partner stops.
* The work begins again when the holding partner is actively in the holding position.

* Reps not completed under the 10 min cap, will be added to your time at 1 sec per rep.

Max weight on this complex in 6 Minutes
1 Clean + 3 Shoulder to Overhead

Teams will have 2 barbells.
You can help each other load and unload each other's bars.
Athletes can take as many lifts as they want in the time limit.
Partners can lift in any order.
Athletes can increase or decrease weight at any time.

The score is heaviest successful complex from athlete 1 + heaviest successful complex from athlete 2.
