About This Competition

Join us October 6, 2024 for Victress Competition 5.0!

VICTRESS MVMT Annual Competition is teams of two with RX, Scaled, Masters & Young Athlete divisions. This is an internal competion for members of VICTRESS MVMT gyms ONLY. 

It's a marathon of a day and jam-packed with competitive action, challenging contests, empowering vibes, and a whole lot of strong a** women.

Athletes battle in a series of events that challenge both their physical fitness and mental grit. The details of each event, however, remain unknown to the athletes until the week of Competition! They must train and prepare for a surprising variety of movements, equipment, distances, and time domains. Each event brings the opportunity to earn points based on performance and finish.

Whether you're looking to compete, sponsor, or simply cheer on these incredible athletes, mark your calendar and be a part of the excitement of Competition day!

All tickets are non-refundable.

You will be allowed to substitute for a teammate if needed.

Workouts will be released, in no specific order, every day at 6 PM starting the Monday leading into competition week.

Workouts

100 Back Squats
25 reps at a time; partners can only switch after 25 reps of back squats are completed.
Overhead Plate Hold: partner 1 must stop squatting if partner 2 brings down the plate to their head. 

RX: Squat: 105#, Plate: 45#
Scaled: Squat: 85#, Plate: 35#
Masters: Squat: 75#, Plate: 25#

Young Athlete: Squat: 60#,  Plate: 15#

3,2,1...GO! Partner 1 completes 25 Back Squats but cannot start or continue unless Partner 2 Plate is Overhead; switch every 25 repetitions until 100 repetitions are complete. Partner 2 cannot switch to the squat until after 25 reps are completed by Parter 1.

400m Buddy Run (every 100m = 1 rep)

40 Burpee Box Jumps

60 Deadlifts

40 Hand Release Push Ups

400m Buddy Run

60 Single Arm KB Reverse Lunges

40 Russian Kettlebell Swings

Remaining Time: Max Rep Pull-Ups

RX: 125#, 35# *Medium Green band

Scaled: 105#, 25# *Red band

Masters: 95#, 25# *Seated pull-up

Young Athlete: 85#, 20# *Medium Green band 3,2,1...GO!

Both partners head out for first 400m Buddy run, must stay together holding onto pull-up band. Upon entering gym, complete Burpee Box Jumps, Deadlifts & Push-Ups, split reps as needed. After last push-up complete a 400m Buddy run, coming back in to complete Single Arm DB Reverse Lunge and KB Swings.

After last rep of KB Swings time is noted (tie breaker), and athletes may set up their band and start completing max rep Pull-Ups in remaining time. 

Reps = 248 + pull ups

Partners have 3:00 to complete as many reps as possible of deadlifts.

30 calorie bike, straight into a bench press ladder to 1 RM attempt

Score is Heaviest weight Completed by each Competitor combined.

Partner 1: 1 RM Front Squat -

3,2,1...GO!

Partner 1 has an 8:00 time cap to find their 1RM Front Squat. Athletes may attempt as many times as desired within the 8:00 running clock. Before each attempt, the weight must be clearly communicated to the judge. Athletes are responsible for tracking and confirming their weights with their judge - judges will not count the weights for you. Any reps not completed before the 8:00 mark will be considered a no rep.

At the 8:00 mark, a 1:00 transition begins. During this time, athletes are responsible for loading the barbell to the designated division weight for Thrusters in Part 2.

Tie Breaker: Fastest Time off of the Bike

RX: 25#
Scaled: 20#
Masters: 15#

Young Athlete: 12#

3,2,1...GO!
Partner 1 & 2 must complete 60 calories on the bike, split however they choose before moving onto Max Rep Victress Makers.
Partners may split reps as needed, all teams must face the box facing the garage and partner not working must stay behind the line inside the rig.
Partners must tag each other in.
