About This Competition

Frost Fight 3 is our third annual Early Winter Competition at CrossFit Barboursville.

This year we will be going with a same sex Team of 3 format. Registration will go live Friday September 20th at noon ET. We have sold out fast the last two years, be ready to go and secure your spot to a day of competition, fun and community.

This event is a classic CrossFit style competition with 3 divisions, Rx, Intermediate and Scaled.

All teams will compete in 4 scored WODs with the top 4 teams in each division advancing to a Finals event.

It's going to be cold outside, round up your squad and bring the heat inside for a day filled with competitive fitness with some of the best in the Tri-State.

***One score, for time, 10 min Time Cap***

Each team will start with two barbells set to their respective divisions opening weight.

Teams will start by completing 30 Synchro Deadlifts (2 work/1 rest, switch as needed).

Following the completion of the Deadlifts all 3 teammates will perform Syncho Burpees (Number of reps determined by division).

Team will then lighten the bars to the next weight and perform 30 Synchro Power Snatches.

Following the Snatches another round of the Synchro Burpees.

After the Burpees the bars will be lightened again and the teams will proceed with 30 Synchro Thrusters.

Finally, teams will finish with one more set of Synchro Burpees.
