About This Competition

Same sex intermediate trio


In this intermediate-level competition, teams of three athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their strengths by choosing from various movement options and weights amongst the team. Each workout is designed to ensure a balanced challenge while allowing for strategic decisions based on individual preferences and abilities.


Some athletes like gymnastics, some like the barbell. One athlete might like a sprint, the other, long distance. Our programming will cover the different preferences athletes in a team have.



Standards:


Snatch: 40kg/30kg

Clean and Jerk: 60kg/40kg

Dumbbell Movements: 15kg/10kg


Gymnastics Movements:

Each team must include the following:

Pull-ups (at least one athlete)

Toes to Bar (at least one athlete)

Double Unders (only one athlete needs to perform these)

Flexibility and Strategy: Athletes have the freedom to choose weights and movement variations, allowing each member to contribute based on their strengths.


Balanced Challenge: The middle weight standards ensure a balanced yet challenging competition for all teams.


Movement Variations: By offering options for pull-ups and other movements, the competition accommodates different skill levels and preferences.


This format encourages teams to strategize and leverage their collective strengths, fostering a competitive and supportive environment.
