About This Competition

Grab a friend, young or old, and join us for a unique and fun-filled competition. The Generational Invitational is a beginner/intermediate partner competition where the divisions are based on combined ages of the participants. The age divisions are 65-80 and 81+ (combined ages on the day of the event). We will have Male/Male, Female/Female, and Male/Female divisions within these age categories. There will be 3 WODs, a floater WOD, and a championship workout for the finalists. We kindly ask that if you finished in the top 1000 females or top 2000 males in the Central East region during the 2017 or 2018 CrossFit Open, you come cheer on your friends instead of participate. We want this to be a true beginner/intermediate competition.

Athletes will be tested on a wide variety of CrossFit movements. The weights will be manageable for the beginner to intermediate – level competitor. There will be no chest to bar pull-ups, bar muscle-ups, ring muscle-ups, or handstand push-ups in this competition.
