Kootenay Cup Final Event for the 2020/2021 Season
Same-sex teams of 2
Initial cap of 18 teams - 3 teams per gym
Registration opens October 12th at 5pm. 3 teams per affiliate may register.
October 15th 5pm any unfilled spots open up to other athletes to fill.
Registration closes at 5pm on October 22, 2021.
Upon registration, athletes must email a copy of picutre ID as well as as their proof of vaccination to kootenaycup@outlook.com

Workouts
Split Jerk from rack- Build to a max
10 Minute time cap.
Teams will have 10 minutes to each find a 1RM split jerk. Score will be combined weight of heaviest successful lift performed by each team member. Split Jerk to be start from the rack. There will be no cap on the number of lifts each team can perform.
WORKOUT WILL BE RELEASED DAY OF EVENT.

There will be a 15 min time cap for this workout.
One partner will be working at a time until all the reps are completed or the time cap is reached. Front rack will be held while other partner is completing gymnastics (T2B, C2B, BMU) and hang from bar will be held while other partner completes barbell movements (PC, FS, S2OH). Any reps completed while the hold/hang is not happening will be no reps. All reps other than double unders may be shared as desired.
Scaled: Single unders, 65/95, Hanging knee raise, jumping pull-ups, pull-ups
Masters: Double unders, 75/115, t2b, pull-ups, c2b
Max Height Walk in Hurdle Jump- build to a max height
Two boxes starting @ 20” for the ladies, 24” for the men with a skipping rope or string across, height increases 2” per time
All Division in one heat, guys on one side of the gym, girls on the other
Two attempts at the set height, after two consecutive fails the team is eliminated. Both partners must make the height
If any part of the body or clothes touch the string it is a fail
I am still on the fence of whether a scissor jump is acceptable or not

RX Dumbbell Weight: 35lbs for ladies, 50lbs for men
Scaled Dumbbell Weight: 20lb for Ladies, 35lbs for men
Masters Dumbbell Weight: 25lb for Ladies, 40lbs for men
Box Height: 20" for ladies (all divs) 24" for men (all divs)
The row and DB reps can be split however teams choose
