Texas Diane Workout Details

This workout begins with the entire team standing at the start/finish line. After “3, 2, 1, … go,” Pair A (MM -or- FF) may move to the deadlift bar to complete required work. After completing required deadlifts partners will move to the handstand push up wall or designated area to complete reps (handstand push-up/hand release push-up). The pattern will be repated until the entire couplet is completed.

Partnership will then return to the end and cross the start/finish line to complete their workout. Time will be recorded for the first score of Texas Diane. If Pair A finishes under the 8 minute time cap the Pair B must wait until the 8 minute mark to begin.

Pair B (MM -or- FF, whichever hasn’t performed the first portion) will then move to their barbell and complete all required deadlifts at once. After completing required deadlifts partners will move to the handstand push up wall or designated area to complete all reps (handstand push-up/hand release push-up). While pairs are on the floor they may switch with each other on movements as desired. The second score will be recorded when Pair B crosses the start/finish line.

Echo Worm Workout Details

This workout begins with the entire team standing behind the dollamur mat behind the competition rig. On the call of "Go,” all athletes may move as partnered pairs to the echo bikes or worms. Once athlete Male/Female pairs have been established they are not allowed to change. Male 1 and Female 1 complete 60 Calories on the Echo Bike while Male 2 and Female 2 support the worm on their shoulders.

Once the 60 calories are complete Male 1 and Female 1 will move forward and complete 30 worm squats. Male 2 and Female 2 are allowed to adjust the bike while the other pair is working with the worm. Upon completion of the 30 worm squats Male 1 and Female 1 will advance the worm down the floor past the next hash mark and Male 2 and Female 2 will begin their 60 calories on the Echo Bike followed by 30 worm thrusters.

The worm must be supported by the non-working pair for all echo bike calories to count for this entire workout.

This pattern continues through the end of the workout, with the established pairs alternating until the workout is complete.
