Outtrain goes underground.
Mixed pairs competition.
4 workouts plus a semi final and head to head final
Functional fitness - No technical lifting or gymnastics
A good level of fitness is required. This is not an event for beginners.
The competition will be held in an underground car park with all facilities and food and drink on site.

Workouts
1 barbell between each pair – weights on barbell are the Lionheart sandbag plates.
Complete 100 snatch deadlifts @60kg IGYG
Complete 75 lateral jumps over bar, tag partner in as and when you want – both feet must touch the floor for take of and landing
Complete 50 Synchro Dumbbell clusters 20kg and 12.5kg
Complete 75 lateral jumps over the bar tag partner in as and when you want – both feet must touch the floor for take of and landing
Complete 100 snatch press @20kg IGYG
Score is time completed.
6 mins Bike erg – Each partner can swap on and off the bike as often as they choose.
The resting partner must hold a sandbag above waist height at all times, If the sandbags hits the floor the penalty is 6 synchro down ups.
At 6 minute mark move to sandbag squats – Each partner can swap in and out often as they choose – again the penalty if the bag is dropped is 6 synchro down ups.
Score is cals and reps combined
Squat standards – Hips below knees. Sandbag held at chest height. Sandbag is 30kg
1km row – one person completes the entire row and the same time the other partner completes 30 single arm devil press
Only when both are complete move on to
10 IGYG tyre flips
Remaining time is YGIG burpee tyre jumps
Score is total burpee tyre jumps
AMRAP
12 Cal ski erg
10 Synchro plate to over head
8 synchro overhead reverse lunge
Divide the ski up however you choose.
Score is total rounds and reps so work right until the end
