HEW Welly Power Hour is BACK!
Here at HEW Fitness Wellington Power Hour has been staple since 2015 and after a few years off, Its finally returning better than ever!
If your new to power hour heres how it works. its four 10 minute workoust wth 5 minutes of rest inbwteen. With an additonal suprise floater WOD as our tie breaker.
Teams will be same sex teams of 2. Intermediate, Scaled and RX devisions to fit every fitness level.
Come on out for an amazing day of fun and fitness. With food trucks, vendors, and big weights its going to be blast!

10 minutes to find:
1 Clean + 1 Hang Clean
Standards:
Clean from floor → Hang clean from above knee
Can be power or squat
Must show control
elbows front, hips and knees locked out.
Score: Combined total weight of both partners

5 Pull-Ups
10 Hand-Release Push-Ups
15 Air Squats
One partner completes full round, then switch.

Scaled: Jumping Pull-Ups
Intermediate: Ring Rows

12 Deadlifts
9 Hang Power Cleans
6 Push Jerks
Partners may switch at any time.
Weights:
RX: 135/95
Scaled: 95/65
Intermediate: 75/55
Patnters can switch at any time
Floater WOD – Tiebreaker
Workout
Max Height Box Jump
Max Time Dead Hang
One partner will complete the box jump test while the other completes the dead hang.
Score: Combined total, used only in the event of a tie.
Standards
Box Jump (Max Height)
Height will be measured in inches
Athlete must jump and land with only feet touching the box
Hands or any other body part touching the box = no rep
Athlete must stand to full extension at the top with control
Failure to show control at the top = no rep
Dead Hang (Max Time)
Athlete must hang from the pull-up bar with arms fully extended
Time starts once both feet leave the ground
Once the athlete lets go, the attempt is over
No re-gripping, readjusting, or dropping to shake out
