Clash of the South
About This Competition
Clash of the South is South Australia's newest Male/Female two day fitness competition.
REGISTRATION.
Opens Friday, 9th February 2024 9:00am & Closes Friday 5th April 2024 9:00am.
> Cost is $190.00 per team.
> 2 Divisions: Open & Fitness
Your team position is confirmed as soon as you have completed the registration through Competition Corner & payment is received. From this point on, your spot is non-refundable.
*In the event you need to withdraw, if you can find a team to fill your spot, you can arrange payment between yourselves, otherwise your registration fee is forfeited.
DIVISIONS AND MOVEMENT STANDARDS.
Please refer to the Division tab & movement standards upon registration.
The movement standards are CrossFitHQ standards. Please have a good understanding of these before the event.
TEAM CHECK-IN.
Thursday 2nd May 4:00-7:00pm at CrossFit Fallen. One person from the team will need to check-in & collect athlete packs.
ATHLETE BRIEFINGS.
Workouts will be released in the prior weeks to Clash of the South, including a video with movement standards, etc. Athletes must make sure that they understand what is required and how the events are scored. There will only be a brief allocated time for any questions prior to the event.
ATHLETE CONDUCT.
Unsportsmanlike behaviour, such as arguing with officials, non-compliance with a judge’s instructions, bickering with or questioning of a judge or official, may result in a disqualification of the athlete from the competition and/or future competitions. This includes derogatory comments from an athlete or their coach, representative, teammate(s), supporters, guests or entourage. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and abusive behaviour or comments either at the competition or online on our social media channels.
All athletes will be held accountable for the behaviour of their entire team, including supporters, coaches and guests. We do not take decisions to disqualify a team lightly. Our community is supportive, kind and fair and we want it to stay that way!

This workout is scored off of the heaviest lift from each athlete combined. If the four rounds aren’t completed in the time cap, athletes score is 0.

'STRANDED'
10 Rounds every 90s or until failure
Partner 1: Will complete max single arm dumbbell thrusters 15/22.5kg
Partner 2: Will complete a 50m Swim
Each new round partners will switch
After the second round - if the partner swimming does not reach the end before 90 seconds, one point per 5m will be awarded. At this point the team will no longer continue.

Max box step overs holding your wallballs in the remaining time. 20"
Wallball shots can only be started once both athletes hold their wallballs. If the wallball touches the ground at any time after this point, that athlete can no longer assist in repetitions during that round.
