About This Competition

The Australian CrossFit Championship is a sanctioned proving ground for athletes with a ticket to the 2020 CrossFit Games up for grabs for first place male, female and team. The competition takes place on the 5th to 8th of March 2020 at the Gold Coast Exhibition Centre. 

We welcome all athletes from around the world to take part and compete against Australia’s fittest. Athletes qualify for the 4 day competition on the Gold Coast by competing in the online qualifiers and placing in the top 30 males, 30 females and top 12 teams.

 

Individual Online Qualifiers;

10th October 2019: the first workout announced.

(this year the ACC will be using the CrossFit Open workouts as qualifiers. Those athletes hoping to qualify for the ACC will have to register with the ACC and submit videos of every workout to be eligible.)

 

Team Online Qualifiers;

13th till 19th Nov 2019

(number of workouts and event details will be announced after the completion of the Individual Qualifiers.)

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 15 minutes of:
9 Deadlifts (100lbs / 45kg)
12 Push-ups
15 Box jumps (20")

MEN - includes Masters Men up to 54 years old
Proceed through the sequence below completing as many reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
75 pound Snatch, 30 reps
135 pound Snatch, 30 reps
165 pound Snatch, 30 reps
210 pound Snatch, as many reps as possible

WOMEN - includes Masters Women up to 54 years old
Proceed through the sequence below completing as many reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
45 pound Snatch, 30 reps
75 pound Snatch, 30 reps
100 pound Snatch, 30 reps
120 pound Snatch, as many reps as possible

ACC T20.3 is The Open 14.2

Every 3 minutes for as long as possible complete:

From 0:00-3:00

   2 rounds of:

   10 overhead squats

   10 chest-to-bar pull-ups

From 3:00-6:00

   2 rounds of:

   12 overhead squats

   12 chest-to-bar pull-ups

From 6:00-9:00

   2 rounds of:

   14 overhead squats

   14 chest-to-bar pull-ups

Etc., following same pattern until you fail to complete both rounds
