About This Competition
LFG Games Mixed Pairs
This is a mixed sex pairs functional fitness competition with an RX category and a Scaled category.
Each pair will take part in 4 workouts throughout the day.
The workouts for both categories will be similar but with different skill levels and weights.
RX movement standards and weights (these are just an example and not necessarily what will be on the day)
Wall Balls 9kg male and 6kg female to a 10' & 9' target.
Single DB Movements 22.5kg male and 15kg female.
Snatch Movements 50kg male and 35kg female.
Clean Movements 60kg male and 42.5kg female.
Overhead Squats 50kg male and 35kg female.
Jerk Movements 60kg male and 42.5kg female.
Deadlifts 102.5kg male and 70kg female.
Kettlebell Movements 24kg male and 16kg female.
Sandbag or D-Ball Movements 50kg male and 30kg female.
Worm Movements 70kg male and 50kg female.
Box Jumps (Overs) 24" male and 20" female.
Pull Ups
Double Unders
All movement standards must be clearly met or will result in a no rep.
Scaled movement standards and weights (these are just an example and not necessarily what will be on the day)
Wall Balls 7kg male and 5kg female to a 10' & 9' target.
Single DB Movements 17.5kg male and 12.5kg female.
Power Snatch Movements 35kg male and 25kg female.
Clean Movements 42.5kg male and 30kg female..
Jerk Movements 42.5kg male and 30kg female.
Deadlifts 70kg male and 47.5kg female.
Kettlebell Movements 20kg male and 12kg female.
Sandbag or D-Ball Movements 50kg male and 30kg female.
Worm Movements 70kg male and 50kg female.
Box Jumps/Steps (Overs) 24" male and 20" female.
Jumping Pull Ups
Single Unders
All movement standards must be clearly met or will result in a no rep.
RX & Scaled places will be sold on demand.
The competition will start at 9am with Athletes registering between 7:45am to 8:30am.
WOD briefing will take place at 8:30am.
Winners announced with prizes and trophies given out at between 5-5:30pm.

Workouts
This is an EMOM style WOD.
Athlete 1 will perform
12 x Air Squats
10 x Pull Ups
Once done Athlete 2 will do as many Deadlifts as possible in the remaining minute.
This will be repeated between minutes 0-5 (5 rounds). Minutes 5-7 will be a rest where Athletes will change weight and swap places. Minutes 7-12 will see Athlete 2 perform
12 x Air Squats
10 x Pull Ups
The Athlete 1 will do as many Deadlifts as possible in the remaining minute.
Each Pair will have 160kg of weight to split between them but the full 160kg must be made up between both weights. (bar weights are included in the 160kg)
Score is Deadlift reps.
This is a 10 min AMRAP

Flow
On 3-2-1-Go one Athlete will leave the holding area and begin 20 x SDB Devil Presses. Athletes can switch in and out of this movement as little or as often as they like. After the completion of these they will then complete 20 x Box Jump Overs, then 20 x AbMat Sit Ups then 20 x RKB Swings. That will be 1 round done. They will then go onto round 2 and continue until 10 minutes is up.
