About This Competition

C'est samedi le 16 novembre qu'aura lieu la Caribou Battle !

 

La "Caribou" est notre compétition annuelle de CrossFit "in-house", nous sommes maintenant rendu à notre 9 ème édition !  La "Caribou" est une compétition amicale où seul les membres du Centre sont invités à y participer.  C'est une célébration de notre communauté, l'occasion de rencontrer la gang du matin, midi ou de soir que l'on connait seulement via PushPress :), de sortir de notre zone de confort et participer à une première compétition de CrossFit !


Le format de la compétition est en équipe de deux (2 hommes ou 2 femmes), avec une division Rx et Scale.   Les deux partenaires doivent être de calibre Rx ou Scale.

 

Voici les standards des mouvements des divisions Rx/Scale:

Clean (135/95)(95/75)

Jerk (135/95)(95/75)

Deadlift (225/155)(155/115)

Thrusters (95/65)(75/55)

Snatch (95/65)(75/55)

Front squat (155/115)(95/75)

C2B / Jumping C2B

T2B / Knee Tuck

Kipping HSPU / HRPU

Double unders / Single unders

 

Attendez-vous à faire de 3 à 4 WOD (entre 8 et 15 minutes max) pendant votre journée.
Les WOD ne sont pas plus difficiles de que ce que vous avez l'habitude de faire au Centre, en fait, avec l'ambiance de feu qui règne durant cette journée, vous allez vous dépasser à chaque WOD c'est certain ! 

La compétition débute à 8h30 et se termine vers 16h00 avec la grande finale !

WOD RULES
One Athlete on the Ski Erg and one Athlete working on the Chipper.
Switch as you wish.
If Ski Erg is completed, both Athletes can work on the Chipper, but only one at a time.
If Chipper is completed, both Athletes can work on the Ski Erg, but only one at a time.
When Ski Erg AND Chipper are completed, Athletes will start back at the top of Chipper but this time, SYNCHRO.

👉Score is:Only the numbers of reps accumulated when working SYNCHRO.
👉Tie break: Time when the Ski Erg is completed..

WOD RULES
- Athlète 1 & Athlète 2 débute le WOD dans une des deux stations, au choix.
- Athlète 1 & Athlète 2 choississent un mouvement de la sation et débute le travail.
- En aucun cas les athlètes peuvent changer de mouvement dans leur statiobn sans faire la pénalitée.

Pour faire un changement de mouvement ou, si les reps d'un mouvement tombent à zéro, les Athlètes doivent éffectuer la pénalitée.

Une fois la pénalitée faite, les Athlètes DOIVENT changer de côté, font ensuite un choix de mouvements et continue le travail.

Pour faire un changement de mouvement à nouveau ou, si les reps d'un mouvement tombe à zéro, les Athlètes doivent répéter la pénalitée et ainsi de suite
