About This Competition

British Teens & Masters CrossFit® Championships 2022: Online Qualifiers 

On the 17th-20th June, we will launch online qualifier workouts designed exclusively for Teens aged 12-21 and Masters athletes from 30+ from anywhere in the World.

The weekend will provide a qualifying process for RXd athletes and an online competition for scaled athletes. Only the top few of the best RXd athletes will qualify to our in-person TWO-day competition in Southampton, on the 10th & 11th September. 

Age Categories

Teens

  • 13-15 years
  • 16-17 years
  • 18-19 years
  • 20-21 years

Masters

  • 30-35 years
  • 35-39 years
  • 40-44 years
  • 45-49 years
  • 50-54 years
  • 55-59 years
  • 60-64 years
  • 65+

Dates

ONLINE QUALIFIERS: 17th to 20th June 2022

An online qualifier style weekend for ANYONE, with separate division for scaled and RX'd in each age group, any level of fitness and ability can join in, from anywhere in the world. With three workouts released at 04:00 BST on Friday 17th, athletes have untill 22:00 on Monday 20th to upload their workout scores and video evidence. The three workouts over the weekend are designed to test different elements of fitness for each specific age division. 


RX'd FINALS: 10-11th September 2022

The RXd finals weekend, a TWO day competition for the top athletes in each RXd age group (specific numbers from each category are detailed in our event guidelines). This is open to all athletes, but if you are from outside the UK, we strongly suggest that you check your covid-19 travel restrictions. 

In order to submit a verified score, and be in contention of a finals place, athletes must have registered and submitted their scores for EVERY qualifying workout directly onto the competition corner leaderboard, any missing videos and/or scores is directly the athletes responsibility and BTMC is unable to accept any atheltes to finals with missing videos or scores, as per Event Guidelines.

If the finals weekend needs to be cancelled, due to another lockdown or government restrictions changing, we will hold an RXd online finals weekend on the same date.

Please note, T-Shirts are optional EXTRA to buy - click on the merchanidise option if you wish to purchase one. All RXd finalists will receive a finalist tee, which will be included with the fee to participate in the finals in Southampton.

We cannot offer any refunds but all proceeds will go towards supporting future events for our masters & teens events.

What do I need?

Photographic ID

A judge that has completed the ONLINE JUDGES COURSE and a video for each workout.

You will need your usual training gear, and any accessories you may need for gymnastics & weightlifting events.

BTMC aims to recognise and help develop the future Teens and Masters talent in the sport of fitness in a safe, fun environment. Movement standards will always come first and the event organisers always encourage safe, correct movement under the pressure of a competition environment. We want to motivate masters across the world to train and provide a platform for testing of fitness.
