4 WEEKS + 8 WORKOUTS = FITTER YOU
Complete 8 bodyweight workouts between 1st - 27th March 2021 and submit your scores to receive your level playing score and see how you match up against students across the country.
During the competition, we will analyse each element of your fitness via a series of focused workouts, challenges and engagements based around various different aspects of your fitness using primarily bodyweight (a weighted version will come when the gyms are back open). Using unique algorithms we will take into account every person's height, weight, age and gender so that everyone has a chance to compete on a truly level playing fitness of fitness.
THE WORKOUTS
There are 8 workouts that will be delivered to your mailbox every Monday and Thursday starting on the 1st March 2021. Each workout will have a designated modality behind in, some might be to stress your cardio, some your upper body and others your lower body.
Every workout has a Time Cap of 20 minutes.
THE COMPETITION IS FREE
To be part of the AoC Sport Fittest Student you will need to register on Team Aretas. You will then be redirected to register for your AoC Archon account, which is where you will find the combine workouts and input your scores.
JOINING THE COMP
Each workout will have a unique pin number for you to enter your scores on Archon. When you receive each workout you will be directed on how to enter each combine in order to generate your score.
WHY JOIN?
It’s been a pretty rubbish 12 months or so, but we all need to remain active and support our communities and colleges. We also know that there will be a return to activity sometime soon and so we want you to use the competition to stay (or get) in condition so that when they give the green light, and we can get back the sports and activities we all love, you’ll be ready and raring to go.
WHO DOESN’T LOVE A BIT OF FRIENDLY COMPETITION
Whilst we want you to have fun, we also want you to create some friendly competition. With this in mind, we will be sharing everything on social media and building a community through the AoC and Archon community. Click the links at the top of this page to follow us
