Return of the Comp for a Cause: Northeast Animal Shelter
About This Competition
IT'S THAT TIME...
We are excited for our Annual Fall Charity Competition and this year will be bigger and better than ever!
For our charity of choice we have our hearts set on helping to raise money for an amazing local animal Shelter, “Northeast Animal Shelter”. Do it for the pups! They are pumped and in need of our donations!!
This will be a 1 day Partner competition.
Divisions are:
-Male/Male RX and scaled
-Female/Female RX and scaled
We are open to other submissions as well, just send us a message.
IT'S A CHARITY FOR ALL TO PARTICIPATE IN
Things to know:
- 3 WODs
- You will know the WODs with time in advance to practice
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each division
Standards:
RX:
Snatch 115/75
Front Squat 95/65
Double Unders
Toes to Bar/Chest to bar pull up
Perform Clean and Jerk (any style)
handstand push ups
Scaled:
Snatch 85/55
Front Squat 65/45
Single Unders
Hanging Knee Raise
Perform Clean and Jerk (any style)

Things to consider:
We will have a donation page as well as a box for the items below. The animal shelter is in need of lightly used or new items, such as:
-Dog and cat food
-blankets/sheets
-Towels
-Collars/Leashes
-Hard bones and hard toys (no plush)
We strongly suggest you do both (donate and bring and item). We will have a large box set up in the gym before comp and day of!

Then, with remaining time, max lift of:
-Snatch
-Hang Snatch
-Overhead Squat
Standards (Lift)
- Must be unbroken
- Any style of snatch is permitted (Power, Squat, Muscle, Split)
- Any style hang is permitted (Low, Mid, High)
- Scored is combined weight
- As long as lift is started before cap, it can be completed

Standards (Randy)
- Barbell Starts on floor and finishes overhead in one continuous motion
- Full lock out must be clearly demonstrated
- Reps can be as partners see fit
- 5:00 Cap - if cap is hit score will be reps missed added to 5:00
RX
14 Minute AMRAP
BUY-IN:
2,000m Relay Run
Then in remaining time:
-4 Handstand Push Ups / 5 HR push Ups (s)
-8 Pull ups
-12 Wallballs (14/20)
Standards:
-Relay Run is Split into 200M intervals
-Athletes will have to pass a baton within a defined area.
-If baton is dropped or not passed in zone, 5 burpee penalty
-Reps of the AMRAP can split as partners see fit
-Chin must be over the bar for pull ups
-No taping of the rig allowed
-HSPU can be kipping or strict
SCALED
14 Minute AMRAP
BUY-IN:
2000m Relay Run
Then in remaining time:
-4 Hand Release Push ups
-8 Jumping Pull Ups (Open standard)
-12 Wallballs (10/14)
Standards
-Relay Run is Split into 200M intervals
-Athletes will have to pass a baton within a defined area
-If baton is dropped or not passed in zone, 5 burpee penalty
-Reps of the AMRAP can be split as partners see fit
-Chin must be over the bar and arms fully extended at the bottom for jumping pull ups
-No taping of the rig allowed
RX
AMRAP
-2 synchronized wall walks
-4 synchronized burpee box jumps
-6/6 Thrusters ascending in weight
Time cap: 7:00 minutes
Male weight: 95/115/135/155/175.... (keep adding 20lbs)
Female weight: 65/85/95/105/115... (keep adding 10lbs)
-Partners must meet at the bottom and the top of the wall walk - 10 Inch line CrossFit Open Standard
-Partners must meet at the bottom of the burpee and reach full hip extension at the top of the box jump at the same time
-6 Thrusters for each partner (can be split up, both partners must do 6)
Scaled
-2 synchronized wall walks
-4 synchronized burpee box jumps or step ups
-6/6 Thrusters ascending in weight
Time cap: 7:00 minutes
Male weight: 75/95/115/135 (Stay at this weight for remaining rounds)
Female weight: 45/65/75/85 (Stay at this weight for remaining rounds)
-Partners must meet at the bottom and the top of the wall walk (Scaled - Hands behind shoulder Line)
-Partners must meet at the bottom of the burpee and reach full hip extension at the top of the box at the same time
-6 Thrusters for each partner (can be split up, both partners must do 6)
-In scaled, the athletes can choose to do step ups or box jumps
