Warrior Affiliate League - The BIG 3 (3-person) Team Competition
About This Competition
We will continue to monitor updates from the CDC and WHO, and will reassess our action plan as developments change.
Workouts have been modified to keep event outdoors. We have implimented rigorous additional cleaning procedures, and increasing the number of wipes, hand washing stations, hand sanitizers, and other cleaning materials, placing them in strategic and high traffic areas.
Spectators welcome and are required to wear facecovers near and around competition area. Face coverings highly recommended but optional for competing athletes.
We will continue to communicate through email and our instagram page. In order to maintain and control crowds, our event format has been modified to accommodate each division to compete within a strict time frame of no more than 3 hours total.

The BIG 3 (MMM or FFF) 3-person team functional fitness/CF competition
When: Saturday, February 13th. 7AM-3PM
Where: CrossFit Fontana 7940 Cherry Ave Fontana CA
The BIG 3 is a 3-person, same gender (MMM or FFF), functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels.
Get ready for the CF Open and test your strength and skills in our first competition of the 2021 season. This is a great event for those looking to do their first competition, yet challenging and FUN for the veteran competitor!
Grab 2 friends and build your power team. Limited spots per division. Register early, this event will sell out fast.
Registration Fee Schedule:
- Now until 12/31: $240/team + processing fee
- JANUARY 1-15: $270/team + processing fee
- JANUARY 16-31: $300/team + processing fee
Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 3 persons, 5+ separate scored events, (3) exclusive athlete event shirt, sponsor goodies at check-in, access to a huge vendor village, and an opportunity to prove your fitness in front of family, friends, and the largest crowds in Southern California with massive prize packs for podium teams!
6 DIVISIONS: Men Advance/Rx, Men Intermediate, Women Advance/Rx, Women Intermediate, Women FUN, and Friendly. Friendly division is non-prize division of a 3-person team comprised of any gender/age combination. Friendly teams will perform same events but may use weight loads of their choice.
TO REGISTER:
One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members' names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Athlete substitution up until the day of event by having your substitute athlete sign your team waiver on event day.

Event 2 - PART B - Perform as many repetitions as possible in 3 minutes: 14-FT ascending Rope Climbs
- ADV - Rope climbs
- INT - Athletes may choose between (1) rope climb or (4) rope climb progressions (RCP) =1 rope climb. Same athlete must complete all (4) RCP for repetition to count. Performing less than (4) RCP will be considered a "No Rep".
- FUN/FRIENDLY - each rope climb progression = 1 repetition

Each Athlete will perform axle bar complex of:

*Weight load will be in the form of a slam ball. Athlete will perform slamball clean to chest, then will perform slamball squat.
Team will have 1 minute at each pre-loaded station. Each successful lift is buy-in to advance to next station. Score is sum of the heaviest successful lift per athlete (A1+A2+A3). TIE-BREAKER: MAX DEADLIFTS / Friendly Division only: slam balls
FLOATER: E4-E5-E6 - WAL Total I (6 minute running clock)
