About This Competition
Get ready to battle it out with your friends - the Apex Remote Games 2020 is here!
This summer we are bringing 5 fun, live ranked workouts directly to your living room. In a remote competition open to all students across the UK, 5 workouts will be released over 5 weeks, with all results updated and live ranked across the country in real time.
Workouts will be released at 9am on Monday 6 July, 13 July, 20 July, 27 July and 3 August. All participants get 3 weeks to complete each workout, all of which will be bodyweight-focused.

Hey guys! Apex Remote Games 2020 Workout 2 coming up for ya here! This one is an AMRAP designed to bring on the burn.
For those who don't know, AMRAP means "As Many Reps As Possible". This means that you have to repeat the workout as many times as possible in the time period, counting each rep as "1" - e.g. 20 sit ups and 10 jump squats = 30. The highest score wins!

Yo yo yo ladies and gents! Team Apex here, servin' up Apex Remote Games 2020 Workout 3 for you! This one is mixing it up a bit, testing your ability to judge your speed and stamina.
The workout itself is deceptively simple: run 3 km as fast as possible.
It's not 1k and it's not 5k...so how fast can you do it? Can you sprint it? Or is a brisk steady state run the way to play it?

It's week 4, and this week we have a chipper for you!
What is a chipper, we hear some of you ask? A chipper is a workout which lasts one round, and you complete all the reps set out, in order.
Let's do this!
Rx:
Chipper
100 Alternating single arm water bottle overhead reverse lunges
50 Jump over water bottle burpees
25 V-ups
Scaled:
Chipper
100 Alternating reverse lunges
50 Down up (with a jump if possible)
25 Butterfly sit ups
It's the final week of the Apex Remote Games, and this week we have an ascending rep workout, for you to go out with a bang!
You've all done awesomely so far - keeping going strong, the finish line is in sight!
Rx:
8 minute AMRAP
Buy in: 50 Alternating V-ups (Only do once)

1 Cossack squat (Left + Right = 1)

Increase by +1 rep each round, e.g. 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 etc.
