About This Competition

Time to throwdown in the trainyard. Provoke is hosting a fitness competition for teams of three athletes (2 male, 1 female) looking to run with the best that Southbay has to offer. The event will take place Saturday April 30 in Lomita, CA at the Lomita Railroad Museum and Provoke.

Assemble your team and get ready to pump some iron in the shadow of a real iron horse.

COMPETITOR PRICING
Teams of 3 (2 male, 1 female)
$120

There are only 10 spots available for each division.
Price includes: Competition entry, t-shirt (next-level tees for men and tanks for women), use of facilities, admission to museum, and more (details coming soon)

DIVISIONS
Beginner, Intermediate, and Rx

Workouts will be released closer to event date, but to make sure your team signs up for the right division, consider these movements as benchmarks:

Rx: Bar Muscle-ups, 8ft wall climb
Intermediate: Chest to Bar Pull-ups, 6ft wall climb
Beginner: Pull-ups, 4ft wall climb

Only one person on each team needs to be able to complete these movements.

WHEN REGISTERING A TEAM, use the information for the person who will act as the designated captain.

FACILITIES
Event will be centered at the Irene Lewis Park adjacent to the Railroad Museum. This is a grassy area with limited shade. Ample space will be available for sun-shades/canopies to be set up (no assigned locations, first come first serve). Portable restrooms will be on site as well as at Provoke. Fresh Mexican food options will be available for purchase. Competition fee includes admission to museum.

SCHEDULE
Saturday April 30, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Athletes please arrive no later than 8:00 AM for check in.

PARKING
Free street parking is available on Narbonne Ave as well as the residential areas nearby on a LIMITED BASIS. Carpooling is recommended.

NOTES
*T-shirt/tank design in progress and will be shared publicly when complete.
*All athletes will be required to complete a signed waiver available for download to print and turn-in at check-in.
*Admission to museum included for attendees.
*This is a SPECTATOR FRIENDLY event - Bring the whole family!
*No refunds.

All athletes will be working together to complete as many reps as possible.Only one person working at a time. Every athlete needs to complete at least 1 wall climb. Not all athletes need to do cal row or DU's. You can split however you want. 7 min AMRAP 50 cal row 5 wall climbs (8ft/6ft/4ft) 50 Du's
